the wedding celebration lasted all night long. King Angus had congratulated them both and had happily accepted Eileen into the family. they danced and danced Edward not letting anyone that he didn't know dance with her. Cinaed had the pleasure of teasing Edward and dancing four dances with her. by the end of the night Edward wanted to get out of the room, Eileen sat next to Lisa who told her all about the roles of the woman of the house.

"you must make sure the house is always clean, and that the food is prepared to your husband's liking." Lisa said with a laugh taking another sip of wine. 

"Lisa i swear, are you drunk!?" Eileen exclaimed.

"No! how dare you believe so, i just had a few glasses to drink. now, where was i? you must be sure to always be pleasing and good! i have found that if you are rude to the servants you get something rude back." Lisa said 

"Eileen, would you like to leave?" Edward whispered to her. 

She grinned at him, already knowing what he was thinking. he nodded and smiled nudging her in the arm. she giggled and swatted playfully his arm. Cinaed could see what Edward was trying to do and looked as if he were about to say something but stopped. Eileen broke out in laughter but nodded. Edward grinned standing and gulping down his ale before scooping her up and carrying her out of the room. 

people cheered for them already knowing what they were going to do. she looked back to see Lisa cheering happily. 

Edward tossed her on the bed and she laughed, rolling over before he jumped on next to her. he laughed and rolled over pulling her closer to him, placing a kiss on her lips. she smiled against him and pulling him closer. 

"Eileen, i am so happy you are my wife." Edward whispered.

"So am i, can Cinaed live with us?" Eileen asked. 

"of course he can, and Lisa and everyone you want, after all you are the lady of the house." Edward said. 

"Good, is this new?" she asked feeling his coat. 

Edward grinned and pulled off the coat, throwing it on the floor. she laughed and pulled him in for another set of kisses. his hands already wandering her body. 

three days had passed since their wedding night and in those three days Eileen and Edward had become as intimate as any wife and husband can be. Eileen woke with Edward's arm around her waist. she smiled and gently pulled him off. he groaned but remained asleep. she smiled kissing his cheek, waking him up.

"Edward." she whispered. 

"hmm?" he questioned lazily opening his blue eyes. 

"Come on, we have better go, we have been here three days. already our guests should be wanting to leave and we must see them off." Eileen whispered. 

"I do suppose you are right." Edward said with a sigh. 

Eileen giggled before she got out of bed. she changed into a simple gown and brushed the knots from her hair. Edward had dressed and kissed her head, she smiled and together they walked out of the room. 

King Angus smiled as they walked into the dinning room. Cinaed gave her a sly smile and Lisa grinned. Eileen laughed remembering the wedding night and how drunk she had been. they sat down next to her. 

"Well, i do hope we will be expecting a child soon?" Angus said with a sly smile. 

"Please father." Edward said. 

Lisa grinned at Eileen, she smiled shyly back. Lisa cleared her throat and set her napkin on the table. she stood and smiled. 

"Thank you so much, King Angus for letting me and my father stay in your presence. i am sorry to say that we must be off, though. i pray that you give us your blessing for our safe journey home." Lisa said 

King Angus took her hand and kissed it giving her a smile. Eileen stared at her shocked that she was leaving so soon. Lisa gave her a sad smile.

"God's speed my dear, i hope you and your father arrive safely to your home." the king said. 

"Thank you sire." she said before leaving. 

Eileen got up and ran after her. this couldn't be happening, she would be loosing her best friend. 

"Lisa wait!" Eileen called as Lisa prepared to get into the coach. 

"Eileen, i am sorry." Lisa said walking to her. 

"you can't leave, Cinaed-"

"Will be fine, so will you besides if anything goes wrong or so you can always call for me!" Lisa said. 

"Lisa! you can't leave!"

"I must, i am sorry. Eileen you are my best friend, do not think i will not come back to visit." she said with a smile. 

"Lisa, hurry up we can't tarry anymore." her father yelled from the coach. 

Lisa hugged her before going to her carriage. it started off, Eileen ran back into the hall to Cinaed who ate silently. 

"Cinaed, go after her!" Eileen exclaimed. 

"Eileen, i can't. she must go home, besides she isn't that far, only a days trip." Cinaed said. 

"Cinaed, you said you loved her!" she snapped. 

"I do! but i have fallen in love before and i expect to do so again!" he snapped back. 

she stared at him in shock. Cinaed sighed and walked to her. 

"Eileen look, i was a friend to her. i love her as a friend, a good friend but only a friend." he said softly.

"you lied to her! you made her believe you loved her!" Eileen snapped tears forming in her eyes. 

Edward stood and walked to her pulling her gently away from Cinaed who gave her a sad expression. when they had both left the room she gasped in pain for her friend. Edward hugged her and whispered sweet nothings in her ear telling her Lisa would be alright. 

she went into her room and sat at her vanity, a blank paper in front of her with a quill and ink at her side. she had already wanted to write to Lisa telling her all that she had learned and wondered if Lisa knew already or if she didn't how heart breaking it would be. Edward walked in and closed the door behind him. she looked up to him and he walked over to her. 

"Come my love, Cinaed wishes to speak to you." he said softly. 

"But i do not." Eileen said feeling guilty for pushing Lisa to go to Cinaed. 

"Love, i think Lisa knew all along. besides she is happy know, she has a loving father and her brothers have returned from the war. she will be alright." Edward said kneeling in front of her and wresting his head in her lap. 

she smiled softly and played with a strand of golden hair. 

"Edward, when did you first know you loved me?" she asked. 

"I think i figured it out after you proved how strong you were by catching the arrow and giving it to me." he said with a small laugh.

"Ah yes, the arrow. you'll be surprised it hurt quite a lot." she said with a giggle. 

"Well you fooled me." he said happily.

"I think i first fell in love with you when Cinaed drank the vile. you were so kind to me and i think after you kissed me it just made me realize that i had loved you all along." she said softly.

"I was truly nervous when i kissed you the first time." he said with a small chuckle.
