I tore down the hallways. Racing past students and gaining many angry glares from teachers. I kept running. Not because I wanted to escape but because she was still chasing me.

"Get back here!" She screamed. Almost taunting me to behave.

But I couldn't do that, she was scaring me. They never let bus drivers into the school. Especially temporary substitutes...

So I ran. Simultaneously, I was beginning to flip. I focused on being that small, brown rabbit from before. Still being cradled in that strange boy's arms. Safe, from this strange lady...

*Minutes later*

I opened my eyes, relived to find myself being held by the boy. I was safe. A leaf fell onto my nose and I sneezed. Causing the boy, Kade, to suddenly look at me. Oh no, not this again...

"Hey! Looks who's such a cutie pa-tooty!" Kade patted my fur, in a way that can be only described as dignified.

It was like he felt as if he had tamed some sort if wolf beast. If only he knew the truth of what he held in his scrawny arms.

*Three Uneventful Days Later*

I opened my eyes, at first I couldn't believe what I saw. Again, I blinked, once, and twice. Two heavy, slow blinks. Nope, I had really seen it. The boy, was glowing! A faint yellowish glow, that could only belong to a certain category of mind control. How in the world is this possible? Aren't the mind controler's extinct? Apparently not.

That's when I realized he was staring. I looked nown. "Oops..." I mumbled. There was no longer short brown fur covering my body, nor did I have the body of a rabbit. I was in my regular body and the rabbit's was no longer in sight. Now that I was completely exposed and that this strange boy knew my power there wasn't any other stupid thing that I could do.

Kade's P.O.V

I woke up to a quiet snoring sound. That's impossible. I thought. Ty had gone out yesterday, he wouldn't be back for a week. Bunnies don't snore, so I decided to check out what could be making that noise. After stubbing my toe about four times walking around my campsite in the clearing I finally found the source of the noise. A girl about my age, with straight black hair and pale skin. She looked tall, but not nearly me height.

Something about her struck me as odd. Maybe it was her bracelet, it looked like a symbol Flippers used to wear when they existed. A simple leather bracelet with an arrow on it, like the symbol of Sagittarius. I decided to leave her here until she wakes up, then I'd see who she is.

I couldn't wait any longer. I used my powers to see who this girl was, and I have to say I never expected this. A flipper, not just any flipper but the last one. She was the girl I have been trained to hunt for. This girl, who has probably been that little bunny I looked after, was the one I had trained to kill. But, I can't kill her.
