Chapter Four

Kade's POV

I picked up the small hare, it's been a while since I had seen anything to precious and delicate. "Shhhhh little one." As soon as I had spoken those words the bunny had drifted off into a sleep. "Hey Ty! Check this out!"

"Ok, it better be important dude. I was making a spear!" Ty angrily dropped his project and came racing over to were I was holding the sleeping rabbit. "That's all? I thought you had something important to show me!" He exclaimed too loudly, the bunny that I was holding instantly awoke and started to squirm.

"Shhh, easy little guy. You're ok" I murmured to the creature as I pulled it closer to my chest trying to prevent it from escaping. I chuckled, amused from the hare's attempts at escape. "Can I keep it? Please??"

"What would you do with a silly rabbit anyway? It would only cause a burden!" Ty shook his head and sighed, he knew arguing with me would only result in me getting my way anyway. "Fine.."

"Yes! Thanks Ty!" I did a little happy dance, still holding the poor sleeping rabbit.

Sanity's POV

I could feel Kade jumping around with me and it's making me sick. I need to change back, but I still need more information. So, I suck it up and go with the abrupt bouncing. I pick up some gental murmers from the boy and I pin back my ears. He is starting to annoy me with all of that baby talk. I decided not to bother to stay any longer and switch back to my human body.

"And that is what happens when you mix H2O with FE." My AP chemistry teacher blandly told us.

I was in my extra science class, I took two because I had a choice between this or Tech Ed. Of course I choose my favorite subject, science. Also, it was the only class Zoe and I could possibly have together. "Hey Zoe. You'll never guess what happened to me!" I chuckled quietly...

"You know I could never guess!" She eagerly responded, obviously wanting to know what I had come across.

"There were two guys. They seemed to be pretty suspicious, they talked about targets as stuff. It was weird. Then one of them got me and picked me up. He treated me like a baby and it was so weird.." I whispered, trying not to get caught with my strict chemistry teacher named Mr. Awlsen.

"Miss. Sanity! Would you care to tell the rest of the class what you and Miss. Zoe have been whispering?" Mr. Awlsen exclaimed angerly. His face flushed red, he looked like a human cherry.

"No sir. I would rather not share..." I hung my head in shame, I had never been yelled at before. Usually I was the example. 

"Riiinngg!!!" The loud bell chimed, signaling the beginning of my next class L,A. With my second favorite teacher, Mrs. Landau. 

As I walked along the hallways I took notice of a new teacher looking at me. She looked very similar to my replacement bus driver. Wait! She was my replacement bus driver!
