Chapter 6; Lies

I opened the door to my house, walking in a very slow pace. I reached for my bedroom door and walked in with tears dropping from my eyes. My clothes were dirty and wet. I shut the door behind me. As I keep thinking about what had just happened, I keep thinking it was all just a nightmare. I kept pinching myself but I could feel the pain. I fell onto the floor, crying. "Harry.." I whispered. I kicked the air, punched the wall, I was mad, furios, upset. 

I screamed. "Why.." I whispered. I took out my school bag and saw the pictures I took with Harry and the boys. I wanted to tear them into tiny bits but I just could not. I looked out the window, it was still raining. 

"What..Are you doing?" a familiar voice said. I looked up, it was Greyson. I was too busy being depressed to notice that he had came in. "Just go," I said with a crack in my voice from all those crying. I breathed in and out to stop crying. Greyson looked at my hand and saw the pictures. "Did something happen between you and...Harry?" Greyson asked softly. Hearing his name just changes my mood, I started crying again. "Why are your clothes covered with mud and..rain?" Greyson asked.

"Leave my room," I said. "Tell me," Greyson said as he sat infront of me on the floor. "You..really want to know? Fine..HE DUMPED ME ALRIGHT? JUST LIKE THAT!" I said shouting, crying louder.

"Oh Selena.." Greyson said as he hugged me. Greyson is really caring when it comes to family, we ussually fight but we forget about it. "I honestly believed in him..I'm just a stupid girl," I said letting go of Greyson. "I thought he was a keeper. I was just lost in his eyes, it was my mistake to not know how to love," I said taking deep breaths. "What did he say?" Greyson was really curious, it's bugging me. 

"He said that all of this love as just an act of his and I was so blind that I played along with it. He was right, I'm so blind, stupid girl!" I shouted. "Whats happening here?" My dad said as he came in. "Dad please..Don't" I begged. He saw the pictures in my hand. "Let me guess, you and Harry broke up," Dad said. I cried just by hearing his name. "I'll explain it to you Dad. OUTSIDE," Greyson said pushing my Dad away and shutting the door behind him.

Next 2 Days..

I had just finished class and wanted to head home to finish my art project. 

"SEL! Sel!" a familiar voice shouted for me. I turned to look and saw Miley runnning towards me. "Hi! I didn't receive any calls from you, was busy over the weekend?" Miley asked. "Urm, yeah. Spending quality time with my family," I lied. 

"HEY GUYS!" 3 really familiar voices said. I looked to see who it was and found out it was Ariana, Daivd and Cameron. "Oh hey, I haven't seen you guys in a while, " I said. "Thats because you keep running off with your boyfriend and his friends!" Ariana said. I thought -- "Yeah..ex-boyfriend that is,". "Even during lunch we don't see you, where do you always go?" Cameron asked. "Lunch? I eat at somewhere else," I said. "You mean like..AT THE MALL? You should have brought us!" David shouted. "Sh! Noo! In school but somewhere different," I said. "Hi? Someone forgot I was here?" Miley asked. "WE DON'T LIKE YOU!" David  hissed[I couldn't find any other words!]. 

I gave David the cold stare. I walked away when suddenly David grabbed me and pulled me close to his chest. "I know you Taylor, I know something is wrong. I will find out," David whispered. I stared at him while he winked at me. "Come on Sel!" Miley said pulling me to the carpark.

At the carpark

"You want to go to the mall? I want to go take photos at the photo booth with you!" Miley said cheerfully. I remembered that day I took photos with Harry and the boys, I did not want to go. "The photo booth broke down," I lied. "Oh..Really? Well, lets just go! It's been a while since we went out together," Miley said. "Sorry, I got..alot of homework, yeah!" I lied. "Okay then..See you," Miley walked away sadly. I really should hang out with Miley soon, I used to tell her everything but it all stopped when I started having those dreams.

I walked to my truck and I wanted to check the back but remembered it was all over. "Just cause its all over, you can't even check the back?" A familiar voice said. Louis walked to me. "I heard," he said. "Shouldn't you be with..him..now? Don't need to act all pity towards me," I said pushing Louis two steps away from me. "Look, he must have did that for a reason, when Harry loves, he can NEVER let go of the girl!" Louis exclaimed. "Maybe that..guy..you just said must have changed. Or maybe..HE LIED," I said pushing Louis away and opened the door of my truck.

Louis must be really strong or something, he pulled me by the hand, stopping me from going in the truck. He closed the door. 

"Look! You can't even say his name, you must be really depressed," Louis said holding me tight. "Why must you care?" I asked. "I just want to help," Louis said. "Well, I didn't ask for your help so you may go now," I said pushing his hands away and got into my truck. 

I took out the pictures that we took in the photo booth. "Why..Why did you do that?" I whispered. I took out my phone and rang for Miley. "Miles, lets go catch a movie," I said.

2 hours later..

"What made you change your mind?" Asked Miley as we walked out of the movie theatre. "I realised my homework wasn't that much, lets go to the mall!" I pointed. The mall was just a 5 minute walk from the theatre.

I walked in and saw Starbucks..

Flashback about the other day played through my mind.

I knew it was time to tell Miley. "Miley..I broke up with Harry, No questions, NOTHING!" I said. "Selena..." Miley said. I started to walk towards Starbucks but something stopped me. I saw the boys. I could hear their conversation.

"You think you could carry me Zayn?" Liam asked. " I could give it a try," Zayn said as they walked out of Starbucks. Liam went on Zayn's back and sucessfully, Zayn could carry him. "Now run around you dog," Liam said with laughter. Zayn did as Liam said and in the end, Zayn fell to the ground.

 Niall, Louis and Harry laughed. And then Liam whispered something in Zayn's ear. Then a huge group of girls covered them asking for their autographs and pictures. I quickly left the mall. "I have to go, its getting late. Bye!" Miley said as she walked to her car.

Harry looked happy..Even WITHOUT me. 

I drived home and saw my Dad watching the television. "Hey.." I said. "Selena, you're home. I thought you didn't make plans?" Dad said. "It came up last minute, I needed to--" "Get things off your mind?" Dad asked.

I sat on the couch and switched to Disney channel. The movie Starstruck had just started. As I watched the movie, I thought that the guy was a jerk but he was very loving. He wanted his love so much unlike Harry. I shed a tear. 

After 'Starstruck' ended

"Still depressed about Harry?" Dad said as he walked out of the kitchen. That name..I cried softly. "I guess so," Dad said. "He doesn't love me anymore Dad..He doesn't," I said. "Selena..About your depression, will you somehow lose control?" Dad said.

It was kind of weird for my Dad to ask me that. "Why-y did you ask me that? And what do you mean by 'lose contol' ?" I asked. "As in..Die" Dad said. "WHAT? Dad are you for real?" I asked. "Answer the question".

He looked really serious. "Maybe.." I said. "Do you believe in fantasies?" Dad asked. "Why did you ask me that?" I asked. "That's whats in my mind, answer it," Dad said. "Fantasy? Like?" I asked.

"Well..Goblins, Zombies, Angels, Vampires, Werewolves, Faries and WIZARDS?" Dad stressed the word wizards. "I don't know but I think so..Well, maybe," I said walking into my room.

BEEP

Someone texted me. The text:

From :Miley

Hey! Guess what?! You know Demi? DEMI LOVATO? OUR ALL TIME BESTFRIEND! Is coming back for school tomorrow!!! She emailed me, aren't you excited?! xoxo Miley

Ofcourse I was excited. I just felt guilty for breaking the promise to her that I would email her everyday. Only Miley kept that promise. And why did my Dad ask me that? And what was he about to ask me the other day?
