Chapter 10; Dark Angels

My heart beated fast. It was like my own footseps while running, no wait..SPRINTING! What secret did he knew? His mysterious face when he said "I know your secret".  

" I--I do--don't have anything to hide.." I stammered. I tried walking away from the kitchen but Logan grabbed my arm.

I wanted to change the subject real bad. Come on Taylor! THINK! And then, I went with a stupid excuse.

"Oh hey! My dad's calling me from his room, I have to go, goodnight!" I said, acting cheerful. 

"I know...You're a..WIZARD" Logan whispered. I jumped in shock. How did he know?

"I found a hidden door to a secret lair and saw the wizard's portal," Logan said.

But how did it know it was a Wizard's portal?

"Yes, I am a wizard too," he said. "How come you didn't tell me?" I asked. 

Hmmm, okay I did not tell him too but..he should have!

"Well, you didn't tell me!" Logan poked me. 

 I ignored Logan and went inside my room and opened my drawer. I was about to take my comb when I felt something there. It was an envolope..

I opened it, read the letter. 

"I'm sorry Selena, I really didn't mean to hurt you. I'm just helping you so nothing will happen to you, I'm just taking care of you. -Harry" 

I remembered the other day Louis handed me this letter. I didn't quite understand what he was trying to say. 

DING DONG! 

The bell rang. 

"I'll get it!" Yelled Logan. 

Harry's Point Of View :

I drove to Selena's house, hoping she was home. I pressed the doorbell and a man's voice, that was not Mr Gomez's voice, yelled.

The door opened. A familliar face popped, it was the guy she was at the mall with.

"Oh..I'm sorry, I think I got the wrong house," I said, walking away. "Oh no! You're Harry! Come in," that man said. 

"You would think the other way round as you're her boyfriend," I said. "Wait, is that what she told you? You think we're dating?" he asked. I nodded. 

"I wish..Come in," he said, "I'm Logan by the way,". We shook hands and walked in. 

"Who is it?" Mr Gomez walked in. 

Mr Gomez stared at me, "Why did you come back? Do you know how much you hurt my daughter?". " I need her to come with me, please," I said. "So you can hurt her again?"  Mr Gomez asked. 

I walked to Selena's room and saw her holding the letter gave her 2 weeks ago. I closed the door behind me and locked it.

"You just read it?" I asked. She turned back, looking at me with hurtful eyes. I did not know she was that hurt. She put the letter down, walked to me and said, "Why are you here?".

"You have to come with me," I said, holding Selena's hand tightly. She shaked my hand off, "I'm not going anywhere with you. I'm staying here,". 

I was forced to pull her to my car whether she likes it or not, it was for her own good. 

As I pulled her, her Dad and Logan looked at me with anger. 

"What do you want?!" Selena yelled. I walked close to her, held her hand and hugged her.

I let go of her, tears filled her eyes. "Come with me, I'll explain later," I said.

She nodded and sat in my car.

Selena's Point Of View :

"Where are we going?" I asked. 

"My place, I'll explain once we reach there.

My heart pounded fast. I wondered what was going to happen. 

When we arrived at Harry's house, I kept wondering why he forced me to come with him. I walked into his house and sat at the sofa. Harry put down his jacket and sat at an arm chair opposite me.

"I brought you here so I can tell you what really happened" Harry said.

I always wanted to know. Now's my chance to stop being hurt.

"Why?" I asked. "Like I said, I'm not good, I'm bad." Harry said.

Suddenly, Harry started acting all weird. He pulled his hair, punched the chair, his eyes went red.

"GET AWAY FROM ME!" Harry yelled, in a deep voice.

I jumped from the sofa and tried to get closer to him but he pushed me away.

"NOO! YOU CAN'T SEE ME LIKE THIS!" Harry yelled again.

Suddenly his eyes went from blue to black and black feathered wings came out from his back. I fell onto the ground.

"Wha--What are you?" I stammered.

"You should've run away," he said. 

Was that THING why he left me?

"You're a dark angel?" I asked.

"How do you know?" he asked. "Well..I'm a..Wizard," I admitted. 

"I always wanted to tell you. I just wanted you to be safe," he brushed my hair. "No! I know this! It's where you sweet talk and try to get me back. I'm not falling for it!" I shouted.

Harry walked towards me, held my hand, whispered in my ear, "I love you, I always had. Believe me, please,". Harry kissed my cheeks and leaned his forhead on mine, still not letting go of my hand.

Harry's wings vanished, his eyes went back to blue and his pale body was back to normal.

"I trust you," I said as I kissed Harry on the lips. Oh how I missed that feeling. I looked him in the eyes, asking myself : Is he the one? This question always haunts me when it comes to boyfriends. It was obvious David was not the one. I am glad he changed himself after he realized what happened. 

Dark angel? Is a Wizard meeting a Dark Angel against the rules? I just know that we're supposed to stay away from them..How can I stay away from Harry? I lost him, now I got him, time IS precious. I must spend more time with him.

Harry offered me lift home and I accepted. As I opened the door to my house, Logan was on the couch watching the soccer match. 

"Hmm, not asleep yet?" I asked. Logan quickly got off the couch and ran towards me. 

"Where were you?! We were so worried!" Logan yelled. He smiled and said, "I'm so glad you're in one piece,". 

His smile faded when he looked to the back. I turned my body to see what he was looking at and saw Harry shutting the door. Poor Logan. 

"What's he doing here?" Logan asked, "I thought you hated him?". 

"We're back together," I said, smiling happily. 

My dad got out of the kitchen and gave the I'm watching you look at Harry. Obviously, Dad had been listening. Dad walked over to his room to get a nice rest before he goes to work tomorrow. It was getting darker. 

"Aren't you going to sleep?" Logan asked. 

"Yeah, soon. You go and sleep first," I said.

I then explained to Harry that Logan was sleeping over. I wonder if he got jealous when I told him so.
