Andrea's P.O.V
We sat there is silence then he started to get up.
“You’re not going to say good bye”
“I’m sorry” He walked back and gave me a kiss on the cheek. He moved my hair to uncover a surprised look on my face. “Get better… Bye”
He got up then left. I got up slowly trying to process what just happened. I walked over to the mirror and stared at my reflection, thinking.
“Okay, I fainted then I woke up in my room and saw my mother, my brothers, and Toby?” I said then sat on the sink. On the side of the sink, you know the table place thing. My feet dangled. “He got here and laid me down then my mom, brothers left… he stayed here I expected a good bye and he…” I said as I jumped down from the counter place and looked back in the mirror. “Kissed me?” I slowly put my hand on my cheek then turned red. “Shake it off”
I went over and sat on my bed. I need a nap. I lied down and fell asleep but just for a moment. I woke up to Andrew shaking me, again! Ugh! Can’t I just get some sleep? I opened my eyes and pushed him off.
“What do you want?” I asked.
“I’m about to leave to take care of my uh…”
“Your uncle”
“Yeah, that’s it!” he said, “Yeah I’m leaving and I wanted to come say bye”
He gave me a kiss and then moved the hair out of my face and I saw Toby. I blinked and then I was back to reality. That was weird. “Bye baby!”
He smiled then left. I wanted to take a nap but I couldn’t stop thinking about how I’d miss him? I got up and felt bored. I looked in the mirror and noticed huge dark circles under my eyes but if I go to sleep, I won’t sleep at night. I used concealer, which is stupid but the dark circles looked horrible. I brushed my hair again because it was tangled then called Vanessa.
“Hello?” she said unaware.
“I fainted today”
“Oh no, are you okay? No, you know what I’ll be right over” she said then hung up. I ran outside and waited for Vanessa. When I saw a taxi park right in front of my house I got up. She came out running and hugged me. “Are you okay? What happened?”
“Come on inside…I’ll tell you everything” I said with a laugh. She ran passed me and I turned around laughing. I then ran inside. She was already in my room so I ran there too. When I walked in she was playing our favorite song. We spun around as we sang the song then she stopped it and I fell on my bed.
“Tell me now!” she yelled as she pulled me over to the edge of the bed. I told her everything from the start, from the woozy feeling to Andrew coming and saying bye. “You’re so lucky!”
“Lucky for having nice people all around me… that’s not luck that was just my choice”
“Does Toby like you?” she asked.
“No, are you insane? I’m going to turn twenty next month and he’s like… twenty-seven, how old is he?”
“He is twenty seven”
“Wow, lucky guess” I said with a smile.
“He probably does like you”
“No he doesn’t! Stop talking non-sense!” She shook me.
“I’ll do it when you face reality!” she yelled as she pushed me onto my bed. I sat up.
“Ow” I rubbed my shoulders.
