Chapter 13 Mixed Feelings

Andrea's P.O.V

I woke up with a big smile on my face. I freshened up as always and brushed my teeth. I was about to run out of my room when I noticed that today was my brothers’ birthday. Their twins, if you didn’t know that. I smiled then frowned. They’re going to make me wear my Assassins Creed costume, oh well! I ran down stairs and my brothers attacked me.

“Are you going to wear the costume? Are you?” they said over and over again.

“I have to” I said as I pushed them off and sat up. “What’s mom doing for your birthday?”

“She’s having this big party and all my friends are coming” said Byron.

“Ugh…but I hate people” I said.

“We’ll play video games after” said Brian.

“Promise” I said as I held my pinky out. They both pinky swore.

“Promise…” they both said then ran off. I looked outside and saw Vanessa staring at Toby’s house. I ran to her.

“Do you want to go say good morning?” I asked. She nodded. I guided her to the door. She knocked slowly. I thought she was going to say good morning but instead when he opened the door she…

“Hi! Boyfriend!” she smirked to the side and my head dropped to my hand. I shook my head then looked up again to see her in his arms. That bothered me but I acted like it didn’t. I laughed because he looked uncomfortable.

“I’ll leave you two love birds” I said as I started to walk away laughing. I walked slowly because I know he’s going to say something.

“Yeah!” yelled Vanessa.

“No…” he said as he set her down. I walked back which were just a few steps. I pulled Vanessa to my side. Toby had this very uncomfortable look on his face. I know he doesn’t want to hurt her feelings.

“You know, right?” I said as I looked at her. She nodded sort of disappointed. “You’re going to apologize?”

She shook her head. I shrugged and guided her off to my house. I ran back to his house to make things clear. He opened the door and let me in. I said hi to Gryphon then went to the couch.

“Is she okay?” he asked.

“She’s fine. She’s just getting over an obsession”

“She’s obsessed over me?” he said.

“Yeah but she’ll get over it” I said as I lied back and then remembered this wasn’t my house so I sat up straight.

“Nah”

“Yeah she is! Or she was” I said with a shrug.

“Oh well that sucks”

“Toby, I don’t get it! Why is she so obsessed over you? I still don’t understand the world of YouTube or You Tubers…it all seems foreign to me” I asked.

“Here! Let me show you!” he said as he took me to his laptop. He showed me many different videos that made me laugh like crazy. He helped me make a YouTube account then I subscribed to all his channels. He has 1…2…3 channels. He’s really funny! We then got bored so we went to play with his dog. He accidently pushed me and I fell in a mud puddle.

“Are you okay?” he asked sounding concerned. I sat up.

“Yeah, I think so” I said. He started laughing. “Just help me up”

He helped me up then I pushed him in the mud. I started laughing and he pretended to be hurt. I didn’t know at first.

“Are you okay?” I asked. He then threw me in the mud and we both rolled around. I then quickly got up and grabbed his water hose. I sprayed him and he fell backwards. I laughed then he took it away from me and wet me. “Thanks you got me clean”
