What I Really Hate
“You know what I really hate?” Darcy complained as she pulled on her gym shirt.
“Dax?” I offered just as Kaylee said:
“Running?”
“Well, yeah,” Darcy rolled her eyes, “but I’m not talking about either of those things.”
“Cheap tissues?” Kaylee asked.
Darcy and I looked at her with surprise.
“What? Cheap tissues suck! They don’t help at all! They just make your nose even more itchy and red!” Kaylee defended. “And have you ever tried to take off makeup with them? Let me tell you, not fun! Not. Fun. Just ask Kal.”
“You had Kal take off your makeup?” I asked.
“No, I was trying to take off his,” Kaylee shrugged.
“I’m not even going to ask,” Darcy laughed. “Anyway, I was talking about these stupid uniforms.”
“The tops aren’t so bad, but I agree with you when it comes to the shorts,” I sighed, eyeing the baggy basketball shorts.
“Would it really kill them to assign us a style of shorts that actually fit?” Kaylee frowned.
“No they couldn’t do that! Then we would distract the boys!” Darcy said in mock astonishment.
“Yeah, like the boys aren’t distracted enough already,” I smirked.
