“So, I’m not sure if Kal really likes Mr.Snuggles Boo Bear. And I was thinking what if they spent more time together, then I’m sure-” Kaylee chatted.
“Lori, can I talk to you for a second?” Kal interrupted Kaylee, who glared at him.
“Sure,” I smiled.
“Alone,” Kal glanced pointedly at Darcy and Kaylee, both of which were not even trying to hide the fact that they were eavesdropping.
Kal and I walked to the other corner of the gym, where we were out of sight. Kal drew in a deep breath and then said, “Lori, there is something I need to tell you. I know it will be hard to believe at first, and that you will probably be mad at me for not telling you sooner, but I needed to know if I could trust you.”
“Kal, you know you can tell me anything.”
Kal took my hand in his, “Lori, I’m a Time Lord from the planet of Gallifrey, and I’m here to ask you something very important.”
“What?”
“Will you be my companion?”
I hesitated.
“Any place, any time just for us. We could explore it. Together.”
“I would love to,” I grinned and Kal hugged me tight and then he-.
“Earth to Lori! Lorrrri! Lorraine Elizabeth Reed!” Darcy said as she waved her hand in front of my face.
“Huh, what?” I brushed my hair out of my eyes, blushing as I saw Kal walk out of the boy’s locker room on the other side of the gym.
Darcy saw they direction I was looking in and groaned, “And I thought I was messed up.”
“You have no idea,” I sighed.
