Chapter 3
( this song will come in play later.)

You had just stepped out of the Restaurant as you plugged your headsets into your phone and put the buds into your ears and selected your play-list that played your music and you headed to the hospital it was a starting to get dark and you watched the sun drift under the horizon and then watched the stars slowly come out you lost yourself in your thoughts and by the time you got to your destination you had gone through the top five of your songs.

You saw your grandmother waiting at the door and ran up to her putting away your phone and walking in with her. You walked to the person at the front desk she knew you both and she smiled like nothing was wrong. You hated that.
"Ah! [y/n], [g/n] ([g/n] = grandmothers name) Please sign in!" She spoke cheerfully
"hello Diana good to see you" your grandmother greeted the woman
as you wrote your names on a sheet of paper and the room you were visiting. 'room 223' You placed the black pen down and started walking in the direction of the room. Only looking back to see the sad smile on the woman's face you looked away and frowned and growled a bit clicking your tongue angrily.
"Its not her fault sweet heart. Its her job to be happy so not to cause panic."
your grandmother spoke quietly.
"She doesn't have to too us... we already know..."
"we don't know for sure. She might pull through we just have to keep smiling. Right?"
she smiled at you and it calmed your nerves pushing you to smile back.
"Right!"
You became optimistic again as you walked and you smiled slightly.

You walked through the winding halls. You reached room 223 and you took a breath you told your grandmother to go ahead as you walked past her to the bathroom. You always went to the bathroom before entering the room. You walked to the sink and turned on the water. You cupped your hands under the water and leaned down splashing the cold water onto your face. You pulled away and looked at your dripping face in the mirror. You moved to the towel wring, you pulled a towel and dried your face. You looked at yourself again and left the bathroom.

You were at the door again. You sighed and opened the door with a small smile. There you saw your grandmother sitting at the edge of a hospital bed as you walked in the figure in the bed came into view. There laying in the bed was a woman, she looked asleep and looked almost like you, older, bonnier, slimmer, and asleep. Yeah asleep, you told yourself that, because she looked like that.

The truth was slightly saddening you usually didn't think about it but this woman was in a comma and she wouldn't wake up from it. You knew that ever since the doctors told you 'her condition was worse than they thought but they would keep looking for a cure.' Ha, you read people like books just like your mother could, and in the moment they told you that you wished you didn't have that 'gift.' More like curse. You looked at the woman's sleeping figure. The person who gave you this said gift. Sleeping right in front of you.
"Hey mom guess what I did today?" You sat next to your mother holding her hand smiling as you talked about your day.

You remembered a day that made your heart ache at the thought, your mother being sick was all his fault. Your father was a good for nothing drunk, and he wasted all his earned money on company mother apparently couldn't satisfy and on useless junk like beer and cigarettes.
