Chapter 48: Being Pushed Away

(Meghan's P.O.V)

     I drove up to Cat's house... No car to be seen. There at Joey's.... I started to drive off to Joey's. I was thinking of all the the things that she said that she's been lying for two months... I can let this happen.

           ---- 5 Minutes Later ----

     I drove up, and got down. I raced up the stairs and knocked on the door. I stood there remembering to tell myself what to say.. The door opened and right there was Joey... He had a bright smile on his face that then began to fade when he saw I was standing right in front of him.

     " Megh---" He said. I cut him off this may be the only chance I get to tell him.

     " Listen Joey... Cat's been lying to you she's not pregnant and that test that was on the video was Kalel's she went over a week after the party." He grew shocked at first, then looked at me like I was crazy.

     " Meghan... I can't be with you..." He said. My heart stopped and I felt my eyes getting watery.

     " Joey she is lying to you... Ask Kalel that's her test not Cat's..." I said keeping calm and not wanting to run away like a fool.

     " Meghan... Haven't you thought that she might have got the same exact test..." He said and stood there with the same expression. What happened to him?

     I looked him in the eyes. I felt a single tear fall from my left eye... The tears of pain...

     " To think you would believe in me...", I said and started to walk away...

     " Meghan..." I turned around with a little sense of hope.

     " Please don't come near us ever..." He said. Another year trickled down my face. I slowly turned around and walked down the steps and into my car. I stood there crying... Like everything was going to be fine.. Maybe he's right. What if it was another test.

(Joey's P.O.V)

I watched her every step... Her legs wobbling as if she was going to fall... Right into the car... You can see she was crying... So much pain went into my body... I realized what I told her but then went back to reality and told myself... You won't let her get hurt. I didn't realize I was the one that hurt her and pushed her away. My heart started beating slower. I watch her car drive off and I felt the whole world coming to an end... I should have never done that in the first place...

I walked back inside and went up stairs to where Cat was getting ready for Tyler's party that he's throwing. Meghan is probably going so I got to remember to be calm and don't get in her way. Cat came up to me...

" Where were you babe?" She said. Walked up to me and wrapped her arms around my neck...

     " I thought I heard a knock.." I lied. Then all of sudden there was a real knock at the door...

     " I'll be right back..." Joey said. He walked down stairs. Preparing its Meghan so that I can say I'm sorry, but let her go because I never want her to get hurt.

     I walked to the door. I took a deep breath, inhaled and exhaled. I opened the door... It wasn't Meghan.. The person looked at me angrily, disturbed... This wasn't going to go well... I looked at him and there I saw the one and only Sawyer Hartman.

     " Hello Joey DAMN Graceffa..." He said, holding his fists nice and tight... I stepped back a few.

     " So how do think it feels taking the person, well friend now you can say...  that they loved and getting her knocked up?" I felt everything melt... I got so mad, sad and stressed out.

     " Ha, no words... Might as well get Meghan knocked up too ha? I mean one for one right? Or should I say two for two... Including the baby that comes along..." He giggled.. I was so mad... He better not lay a single hand on Meghan.

     " Leave Meghan alone!" I yelled. He stepped back and smirked..

     " You see my friend, that hurt a lot when you took her from me and got her pregnant, now I feel it would be the same if I got Meghan knocked up.. Don't you think?" I clenched my fists. He better not lay a hand on Meghan... But all he was saying is true. But I never meant it to be that way in the first place.

" I know and I'm sorry, I didn't mean to get her knocked up in the first place Sawyer." He smiled. He wasn't looking at me he was looking at something in the background. I turned around and saw Cat standing there hands on mouth and nose, crying.

" Our baby is a mistake?!" She said... I was speechless, no words. She ran up stairs as fast as she could.

" Looks like you got a lot on your hands... I'll leave you to it!" He said and opened the door and walked out of our apartment. The only thing on the back of my mind was Meghan. I ran back upstairs and went to Cat...

" Cat... I'm sorry. I didn't mean that, it's just that when that day you said that, it was a shock." I said and pulled her close to me.

     " It's ok. As long as your here for me and the baby." She said.

(Cat's P.O.V)

     My acting skills... Are on point... Fantastic.

" I'm going to go get smoothies, what do you need? I'll be back and get ready for the party" He said. I nodded. I was filling flirty.

" I need you..." I said and he smiled and came close and kissed me.

" I'll see you in a while! Trust me!" He said. He waved good-bye. He left out of the room and I heard him walk down stairs.

I looked around, 2 Months with Joey! 2 Months with the "baby"... I giggled.. Then it hit me... Oh no...
I grabbed out my computer and looked up what was on my mind. This didn't come to my mind in this plan making at all...
