Chapter 4: "Lunch"

(MEGHAN'S P.O.V)

     Today i am going to lunch with Cat. I haven't talked to her in a very long time. I grab my camera and press the record button.

     " Good Morning Burries! It's Noon. Today i am heading out to go eat lunch with Catrific! We haven't seen each other in a long time. Now we can catch up on what we missed. I will seen you in a bit."

     I stop recording and turn it off and put it in my purse. I grab my keys and right as i walk out the door. I say . . .

     " David, Im going for luch with Cat! See you in a bit!" i yell out.

     "Ok, be careful!" He said calling to me. I then walk out the door and hop in my car. I decided to text her.

Meghan: Ill be there in 5

     She then replies back.

Cat: Ok! Ill save us seats.

     I then reply . . .

Meghan: Ok! :)

     I then drive off into the distance.

                                             ---- 5 Minutes Later ----

(CAT'S P.O.V)

     I am now sitting at are seats. Looking out the window, waiting for Meghan to arrive. I then see her car pull up. Her hair is straight and she has a little make-up. She walks through the doors and looks at me and smiles. I put on a fake smile.

     "Hey!" she says sitting across from me.

     "Hey!" i say still having a fake smile.

     " How have you been?" she says.

     " Ok, been real busy lately", i say.

      " What about you?" i say, really wanting to know what she will say with Joey.

     All of a sudden the waitress comes to us.

     " Hello, my name is Kimberly and i will be taking your order." she said taking out her notepad. Right as i began to speak Meghan cut me off.

     " I'll just have a water", she says. I look at her like it was just an 'accident'.

     " Make that two", i say looking at Kimberly. She has brown hair and a light brown skin tone with brown eyes which has only eyeliner.

     " Be back in a sec", she says walking back into the kitchen.

      Now i wanted to know what Meghan was going to say.

     " So, where were we?" i say locking my hands together.

      " Oh yea, like you said I've been busy lately too." Busy doing what? Kissing my man?

      " So what was your recent video?" i say to her straight in the eyes. She gulps and says  . . .

     " On Lifeburry i went to Joey's and yea, it was cool." She's now twirling her thumbs.

     " I wonder . . ." She cuts me off again and says . . .

     " Wonder what?" she's now twirling her thumbs faster by the second.

      " Do you like Joey?" i say looking at her concerned.

(MEGHAN'S P.O.V)

     Im so nervous right now. I'm twirling my thumbs very fast. Im sweating up a storm. Should i tell her the truth? Should i keep it a secret. All of a sudden words fly out my mouth.

     " Ok! I do like him! It's been since yesterday when we kissed. I just kinda felt a connection between us. What do you think about it?" i asked her concerned.

     She had a shocked look on a face, she didn't say a word. About 20 seconds later that shocked face turned to a very red face. She looked mad and was trying to cover it up. I decided to say something.

     " Are you -" i say until she cut me off.

     " Shut Up!" she says silently. Did she just tell me to shut up? Why is she being so rude. Is she jealous i like Joey? Is she jealous that i kissed him?

     " Are you j-" she cut me off again.

     " Shut up, or next time i will hurt you." She says.

      I was scared she was going to actually hurt me, so i didn't say a word. The waitress comes back and hands us are drink. The whole time Cat was focused on me. I got scared and decided to leave. I got up and walked two steps until i felt someone pulling me back to my seat, It was Cat.

     " Stay away from Joey, if you don't i will kill you." She took my glass of water and dumped it on my head and walked out the door of the restaurant.

     I stayed there like that for two minutes straight. I looked around to see everyone staring at me. All of a sudden Kimberly came up to me.

     " Would you like a rag?" she said.

     I then ran out the door crying and into my car driving to my house.
