Chapter 49: Dissapearing Love

(Joey's P.O.V)

     I yet again lied to Cat. I wasn't going to get smoothies. I had to explain to Meghan. I love and miss her so much, but I had other priorities to fill in.

     I drive up to to Meghan's house and I see a sign standing up right next to it.
It read For Sale... With all the contact information. I was shocked, I thought where she would have been. First place in mind was Stacy's. I step on the gas and drive the way to her house.

              ---- 7 Minutes Later ----

     I drive up and race out of the car. I ring the doorbell and knock on the door twice.. I knew I didn't have much time. Stacy opened the door and looked at me surprisingly.

     " Joeeee---" She said, I cut her off.

     " Yes Joey! It's Joey!" I say in a fast tone. She was still in shock.

     " Look, Where's Meghan?" I said. She pointed upstairs. I ran in and up the stairs. I couldn't waste anymore time. I walked in.

     " MEGHAN!" I said. I took off the blankets. Nothing was there.. No Meghan, But a single note and present. I took out the note and looked at it... It had my name.... I ripped open the envelope and got out the letter.

Joey,
     Enjoy your life with Cat.. She is glad to have you in your life. You will have a wonderful child together! It's ok, I understand... Things are hard. But in the end you are looking forward to a great future! I will love and miss you so much! They say... "Forever has 7 letters but so does Good-Bye"... I love you Joey...

     I opened the little present... There was the most beautiful thing I have ever gave someone.. I picked it up with my fingers holding on to it tight to take a closer look. It was the long necklace that had a silver and gold heart. On the heart laid a gem and carved on it was the #Moey. It was Meghan's necklace I have her to wear for our first date... I turned around slowly and saw Meghan standing there.. Watching me.

" MEGHAN?!" I said and I walked toward her fast.. I gave her a hug and held to her tight and she did the same.. No words where said. I was crying. I stepped back and wiped the tears from my eye. I went to look back she was gone... I was outside.... At a park. I looked around until I heard grass smashing in the background.

" Daddy! Daddy! Daddy! Look what I found!!" I turned around and saw a petite little boy running towards me. I was confused I had no idea what was going on.. I got on one knee to be face to face with the little boy.

" What is your name?" I said... He looked at me and laughed.

" My names Logan.. Your funny." He said, I was confused did I know this child. I thought hard, there where no answers. He saw the blank expression on my face.

" I'm Logan, your son. I belong to you and Cat, your my mom and dad.. Remember?" He said. I nodded and thought of everything. All the memories flooded my mind. I looked back at him and I saw he looked kind of like me... I felt a hand on my shoulder expecting it to be Meghan.
I turn and look... It was Cat.

" Mommy! Look what I found!" He opened his hands and it was a little toy car.

" That's great sweetie! Go and play, I'm going to talk to Daddy for a while." She said. I got up and looked at her. I was in shock.. This is real. I felt weird.

" Joey! Are you ok?" She said and started putting her hand on my forehead making sure my temperature is alright.

" Your feeling fine.. I know these years have been tough. We can get through them together I promise." She came in for a hug. I hugged her back tightly. I looked in the distance and saw Meghan watching are kid.. She looked all glowy. I stopped hugging Cat and ran towards Meghan.

" MEGHAN? MEGHAN!" I said screaming.. Cat ran after me, she was trying to tell me something but I wasn't focused. I was still running towards Meghan and right before my eyes she disappeared. I stopped and fell on my knees. Crying and crying. Screaming her name. Then I felt shaking. Black turned into a blur.

" JOEY! YOUR DREAMING!" I suddenly jumped up and saw Cat. I hugged her tightly. It was only a dream... I had sweat everywhere. I looked back at Cat.. I sighed.

" Let's go back to bed, you must be tired from Tyler's party, we will talk about this tomorrow." I nodded in agreement and stood up for a while wondering what just happened.. Thankfully it was just a dream.
