Out of all the coffee shops I'd been to, this one on campus was definitely my favorite.
They had tea.
And it was actually good.
I felt a smile actually making it's way to my lips at the thought... then my eyes widen when someone begins speaking to me.
"... you have a sweet ass."
Bloody Hell , this kid.
I could feel myself blushing at the inappropriate comment.
I'm not even attracted to this kid. This is ridiculous.
I slide my glasses up my nose, and look at Ridge, my uncomfortable blush still there.
"You're bloody inappropriate." and I picked up my tea when the barista handed it to me, and threw her a few bills before walking away.
"I might be inappropriate, but I'm fucking gorgeous."
Ridge followed me out of the coffee shop, and I stopped to look at him.
"not to mention completely irresistible." he was standing with one hip popped out, and a hand crossed over his chest. After he said "irresistible," he winked at me wit one made up eye, and I could tell my blush had deepened.
what is this kid thinking?
of course, I don't look to find out. I had been doing a remarkable job at blocking people's thoughts. I barely even hear whispers lately. This kid made me practice a lot.
"Why have you been following me?"
"I wasn't following you! well, not today at least." He said the last part under his breath, and I rolled my eyes.
"Your should be flattered, handsome." He goes right back to his inappropriate, sassy-self, and looks at me in a way I'm sure was meant to be seductive. "All the guys are tripping over themselves to get a piece of this ass!" he motioned to his bum for emphasis
"Then why've you been following me around, you bloody weirdo?"
Ridge walks closer to me, his face extremely close to mine.
"Because you're sexy as all hell."
My eyes widen, and I step back from him, only to see him laughing.
I take a drink of my tea quickly, and pray my blush will disappear.
"Good day." I barely get the words out and turn away before he grabs my arm and stops me.
"My name's Ridge."
I debate whether or not I should tell him my name. If he didn't already know.
I look over at him, and see an expectant expression on his face.
Blimey.
I sigh.
"Sabastian."
With that, I gently pull away from his grasp, and walk away from the coffee shop, sipping my tea, and pulling my phone from my pocket to dial Heather's number.
...
"Aaah! Seriously?" I flinch at the high-pitched screeching coming from the other side of the phone.
"Oi, Heather! no need to shout, aye? Jeez." I roll my eyes, and sit down on my couch with a sigh.
I was going to seriously regret telling Heather about Ridge.
