Stormies POV
5:00pm
I got back to mine with Riker, Rocky and Ryland. Rydel and Ellington were coming later and then they were all going home with Ross. I walked in and saw my parents on one couch and Mark on the other. They were watching TV and Ross was asleep on Mark with a blanket pulled up to his neck. Mark was stroking his hair while rubbing his arm. "Hey" I smiled. My husband smiled "hey" he smiled. "he okay?" Riker asked. "Yeah he's fine. Just tired" Mark laughed. Ross shifted and buried his head in marks neck. I smiled and Mark laughed. "He's breathing so heavy storm" he sighed. Ryland walked over and stroked Ross' hair. "He's so strong" Ryland whispered. Mark smiled and nodded "he is yeah"
Marks POV
15 minutes later
Ross was still asleep on me while stormie was upstairs with her parents. Ross nestled into my neck and groaned. "Dad?" He mumbled. "Yeah I'm here" I whispered. Riker looked over as Ross curled up more. "dad my head really hurts" he whispered. "I know buddy I know. Dyou want some pills?" I whispered. He nodded "rike can you run and get him some aspirin please?" I asked. Riker nodded before standing up and going to the kitchen. I rubbed ross' head and kissed his cheek "you okay?" He whispered. "I'm fine bud" I assured. He groaned and pushed his head more into me. "What's wrong?" I asked. "It kills" he whimpered. Riker walked back in with a bottle of water and some pills. "Here bro. Take these" he whispered to Ross. Ross took the pills and reached for Riker. My eldest lifted him up and kissed his head "you're so strong" he whispered. I smiled. "Can I have my phone?" Ross yawned. I passed it to him "thanks" he smiled. He scrolled through it as I walked into the kitchen. Ryland walked in and smiled "hey" I smiled. "Hey dad." He smiled. "Dad" "hmm?" "What's gonna happen?" He asked. "When?" "When he's gone" I looked at Ryland and pulled him into my arms. "I don't know ry. I really don't know"
Ross' POV
I was scrolling through my texts when Raini texted.
'Hey Rossy. I'm having a party this weekend. I was just wondering if you wanted to come. You don't have to considering the circumstances, but thought maybe you and the others would want a break?'
"Rike?" "Yeah" "does anyone know about my current condition?" I asked. Riker sighed "no. All they know is that you have cancer. Not that you're gonna..." he trailed off. "Why?" He asked. "We've been invited to Raini's party on Saturday" I told him. "Ah. Shall we go?" He asked. "I dunno. It depends how i feel on the day. I can't really plan it" I explained. "Maybe you could say that the rest of us will definitely go but you're not sure" he suggested. I smiled "yeah. I'll say that" Riker smiled and kissed my head.
'Hey. Riker and the others will definitely come but I'm not sure yet. I won't really be able to tell you until the day. Is that okay?'
I sent it and went onto twitter. I scrolled through the 'prayforross' tag and favourited all of the best tweets.

I tweeted as a text from Raini popped up.
'That's fine honey ❤️ I hope you're doing okay. Wanna meet up for Starbucks or something?'
I smiled. "Rike" "yeah?" "Can I head out with Raini for abit?" I asked. He nodded "yeah just have me on speed dial" he ordered. I nodded
'Yeah sure. What time?'
'Be there in 10'
15 minutes later
5:30
I climbed into her car "you said 10" I joked "erm excuse me. There was traffic" she laughed. I laughed "how are you honey?" She asked, starting to drive. "I'm alright today. My head hurts a little but hey. You okay?" I answered "yeah yeah I'm good. Your head?" She asked. "Uh yeah...I-I have 2 tumours in my brain" I mumbled. "Oh baby" she frowned. "Is chemo helping?" She asked. "Erm..I don't do it anymore" I told her. "Why?" She asked, concerned. "It's not helping. I have 6 months" I whispered. She grabbed my hand with her free one. "Oh my god Ross" she whispered. "Don't say anything. Let's just act normally. Okay?" I whispered. "Yeah okay."
We got to Starbucks and I got my wallet out "what're you doing?" She asked. "Paying" I told her. "No you're not. I invited you" she smiled. "You don't have to pay" "but I'm gonna. Go sit down. I'll get your usual" she smiled. "Are you sure?" I asked. She nodded and pushed me "go"
I sat down and pulled out my phone. Dad-'You okay?' I smiled slightly 'yep I'm fine ☺️' I sent it as I glanced up at Raini. She was ordering. My phone buzzed 'Ah okay. If you need picking up call me'
'Okay will do'
Raini sat down and placed the tray down. "Here. A latte and a chocolate muffin" she smiled. "Thanks rain" I smiled. She smiled and nodded "so. What were you up to?" She asked. "Nothing. All I've been doing is sleeping and being smothered. It's nice to have a break" I smiled. She smiled. "I'm happy to give you that break". "So what have you been up to?" I asked, sipping my drink. "Nothing much. Filming something-" she wiggled her eyebrows. I laughed "And worrying about my best friend" she frowned. I frowned too. I shook my head "filming?" I asked. She nodded "some movie that I've got a role in. Laura and Calum wanna meet up too." She told me. "Are they both free today?" I asked. She shook her head. I frowned. "They're really busy themselves" she sighed. I nodded. "The one time I'm not they are" I laughed slightly. Raini laughed. My phone buzzed
'Coming to pick you up now okay?' From my dad. I sighed. I just want to freedom.
