Ross' POV
I opened my eyes and saw Raini and rocky next to me. I furrowed my eyebrows. "Hey honey" Raini whispered. My head was pounding. "Wha'happen'?" I slurred. "You had another seizure bro" rocky told me. I fluttered my eyes. "If you're tired you can sleep" Raini told me. I nodded slightly as I closed my eyes. "You should go find Laura and Calum" I hard rocky tell Raini. "Yeah I will. Look after him" she told him. "I will" I heard the bedroom door shut before going to sleep.
20 minutes later.
I woke up and saw rocky on the phone as he put my clothes away. "Yeah he's fine...if you all want you can yeah...nah I changed him so it's fine...no he's still asleep but he'll wake up soon. He's been stirring...he'll probably want a latte or something...can I have a latte too please...thanks Raini...okay see you all soon...haha yeah" I coughed which caught Rocky's attention "hey bro" he smiled. "Yeah he's awake. I'll see you soon. Bye bye" he Hung up and walked over "you okay!" He asked. I nodded "tired. Who was on the phone?" I asked. He smiled "your words aren't slurring. Raini, Calum and Laura. They're on their way over." Rocky explained. I nodded "can we go downstairs?" I asked. He nodded before helping me up. Everything went blurry for a second but then focused. "You good?" He asked. I nodded slightly.
We both walked downstairs and rocky handed me a granola bar. I furrowed my eyebrows "keep your strength up. D'you think you'll be okay on your own for about half an hour?" He asked. I nodded "yeah why?" I asked. "They won't be here for half an hour and I have to go meet mom" he explained. J nodded "okay"
My older brother left and I sat on the couch. This is the first time I've been alone in ages. I turned the TV on and looked around. I forgot what was happening. That keeps happening recently. I do one thing and the next minute I forget. I'm going to the hospital tomorrow so they'll help. Mom knows. The others don't. If o get confused to forget I make up some excuse. I pulled out my phone and opened the texts. I furrowed my eyebrows. What was I doing? I looked through my texts and saw moms number. Texting mom. That's what I was doing. Now what was I texting her? I sighed. I forgot. THATS IT!
'Mom. Can you call me please? I forgot again'
I sent it and stared at my phone. I closed my eyes and my phone started ringing. Who's ringing me? I looked at my phone 'mom' oh why is she calling?
"Hey mom what's up?"
"Oh honey"
"What's wrong?"
"Baby you told me to call you."
"Did I forget again?"
"Unfortunately so baby"
"Mom I hate this"
"I know baby. I'll come to the hospital with you tomorrow."
"Okay."
The doorbell rang. "Gotta go mom. someone's here" I stood up and started to walk towards the door.
"Okay. I'll call you late. Love you lots"
"Love you too mommy"
She hung up and I answered the door. Raini, Laura and Calum stood there with Starbucks drinks. "Oh hi." I smiled slightly. "Hey. Did you forget we were coming?" Laura laughed. I smiled slightly "ha must of" I whispered. Raini frowned and rubbed my arm "sorry. Come in" I smiled and let my friends in. My phone buzzed and I walked over and picked it up 'on my way to pick you up. The hospital wants to see you straight away because of your memory. Me and dad are gonna take you-Mom' I sighed "guys I'm sorry. I have to go" I frowned "why?" Calum asked. "The hospital needs to see me. I keep having memory problems. They think it's something to do with my brain tumours so they wanna check it out." I explained. "We can meet up next time you're all free" I frowned. "Are you free tomorrow?" Calum asked. I nodded "think so. Text me later"
2 hours later
"Short term memory loss" mom told my siblings. Rydel rubbed my back. "It'll be common but we'll help him through it" dad explained. "Hey it's okay" Ryland soothed. I shrugged "I can't even remember what I did earlier" I whispered. "Why don't we go for a walk? Then we'll get pizza" Riker smiled. I nodded slightly. We all stood up and Rydel wrapped her arm around my waist.
Rikers POV
I watched Rydel and Ross walk out to the car and dad patted my arm "watch him. The doctor said he might start to wander off or something so please watch him" dad told me. I nodded "I will"
I got into the car and Ross looked uneasy. "What's up?" I asked. "Where we going?" He asked "for a walk" he nodded. "Let's go" Rydel smiled.
We arrived at the park and we all got out. "Just a walk" I smiled. Ross smiled and nodded. We all walked around for a while before I noticed Ross wasn't following us. "Del wheres ross?" I asked. She looked around "oh shit" we turned around and started to walk back. "He won't even remember where the car is" Rydel sighed. I looked around and caught eye of the ducks. He likes ducks. Something that innocent could distract him and make his disappear. "I'll go look by the ducks. You walk around" I ordered my sister. "I think it's better if we stay together. We don't all wanna be split up" she sighed. I nodded "good point. Come on. " we both walked towards the ducks and I saw my brother staring at them. I walked over and sat next to him. He looked at me. "There you are. Where d'you go?" He asked. Oh god. "We didn't realise you came to the ducks" Rydel smiled. I nodded. "Oh sorry" he smiled. I smiled "Come in Ross. Let's get you home"
