I shouldn't know you, but your eyes told me,
Unspoken shadows lost in your lips.
A loud yelp escaped my throat once I was flung unto the ground, making the dirt clung into my clothes. "Again!" My father yelled disappointed, I wasn't able to meet his standards, for I was weak, that's how I always foresee myself. My legs wobbled, standing up and doing my usual stance. "Give me all you've got! I don't need a daughter as weak as you!" He exclaimed with a harsh glare under his eyes. My left foot changed it's angle as I charged at him with my strength. His face stoic, dodging all my attacks. I did a right kick but his hand had grasped unto my leg. This is my chance! My fist quickly went under his chin, a determined look on my face.
Reiji Uchiha was strict, heartless and cruel. He was one of the most influencial man among the our clan. My mom had told me that their union was merely an arrange marriage to strengthen political ties with stronger clans. My father was always jealous and a person capable of ruining other peoples lives for power. He was envious of a person named Fugaku Uchiha, the head leader of the main household. Father once challenged him to a fight but had lost, hence his hatred for him. Fugaku had made our family his line of bodyguards for generations to come. Even though he has unquenchable hatred, he remained civil and followed the leader's others.
A hand shot through mine and twisted it on a different angle. My grunts of pain turned into a shout as I felt my bones break under his muscular arm. "Arggggh!" With his other leg, he swiftly kicked me in the stomach, causing me to hit one of the pillars of the house. "Pathetic!" With his arm raised, a huge slap made it's way to my face. My right hand was aching severely but I hadn't know any medical ninjustsu to help me. "You'll be sleeping tonight in the forest until you manage to prove yourself to me!" He scoffed before turning his back on me.
My family was unlike any other normal Uchiha family. We hadn't lived inside the compound but rather, the outskirts of the village. It was unkown to me why father had requested it. Maybe he was still mourning my mom's loss, but I shouldn't care. If I was going to be a strong shinobi, I should always be emotionally, physically and mentally prepared.
My own feet had dragged me unto the edges of a river where statues of the founders of Konoha had stood face to face. I sat at the edge of the surrounding bodies of water, watching my own reflection. My raven hair framed my face well. A sigh escaped my lips, running my hand at the top of my locks. If I wasn't wearing a girlish outfit, people would conclude that I was a boy. My hair was styled in a bob with bangs above my eyes. The only thing was feminine about me is my voice. My clothes were dusty, and few bruises covered my pale skin.
This was no time to be lazy. I scolded myself and stood up from the ground. I have to prove to my father and make him notice my capabilities.
My hands formed a sign as I focused my chakra into a release. "Katon: Fireball jutsu!" My face could've felt comical when there was no fire that emitted from my mouth. Father had told me that I contain a large amount of chakra that I had the potential to surpass his rival's children, but I couldn't believe that. In my age, children from my clan could even make a fire jutsu with ease, but I hadn't. Instead of a large fire, it was... it resembled a lit matchstick.

"Again!" My father yelled angrily as I was merely swept off my feet with a single blow. I panted and got off my feet once more. His arms were closed as if daring me to do something that would get his interests. I did manage to almost corner my Dad and now he had me trained with one of Fugaku's top ninja police enforcers. His sleek black hair glinted under the harsh heat of the sun. Like any other Uchiha men, he was dominating me with a sneer in his eyes. "Oi Reiji! This battle is boring. Your daughter isn't even that great." He waved his hand dismissively. I felt my anger resurfaced but had kept my calm. It shouldn't bother me that much for I had much things to learn.
I charged once more, gaining his attention. My hand hadn't healed and that's what I was worried about. If he would know my weakness then it's over. A smirk made it's way to his face before his hand landed unto mine. "Gotcha!" His mouth gasped in surprise, when his hand had completely gone haywire. The bones and flesh of his hand suddenly bursted from it's skin, causing the shinobi to cry out in pain. The unkown force started to crawl in his arm, letting out an ear screeching scream from his throat.
It scattered along his shoulder blade, making half of his body explode with it's internal parts enlarging. "Gaaaah!" He felt his skin tore to shreds and blood gushing all over his body. "W- What j- jutsu is this?!" He mouthed, as his breathing had stopped.
A clap emerged from my father. "Excellent! You have mastered a forbidden jutsu from your mother." He strode towards me, ruffling my hair with his hand. "I will provide you with scrolls to completely master the just but first, clean up. You'll be coming with me." My eyes wandered to the dead body only to be incinerated to ashes by my father's loyal clansmen.
I changed into a fresh shirt with the paper fan symbol in the back. My face masked emotionless, gazing at the man that had won against my father. "Ahhh, Reiji. I assume that this is your daughter?" He began to assess me with his gaze. "This is Akane. Akane, meet Fugaku. The chief of the Konoha Police Force."
