Raptured ◈ Sasuke Uchiha

XVIII

Like a thief in the night, I fell in love with you,

Without any warning, nor any clue.

"What's it gonna be.." Sasuke clenched his fist, landing in front of the Suna ninjas. He opened his hand to see that the rock came to dust. "You bastard." The black ninja gritted his teeth. "Naruto nii-chan! Why aren't you as cool as him?" The kid pointed at Sasuke. "Eehh! Of course I am! I could kick his butt anytime of the day!" Naruto reasoned.

"Tsk." The purple painted ninja, took out something from his back. "Kankuro! Why would you use the crow for this?" The blonde female gasp. "Shut up." He muttered as he started to unwrap it. My eyes narrowed at the strings visisible from it's bandages. A puppet user. "Kankuro!" The ninja stiffened when another Sand ninja came. He rocked a spiky red hair and sea foam eyes that showed a gentler nature within his tough appearance. "You're a disaapointment to the village." He was carrying a brown gourd in his back and his right forehead marked 'love' in kanji. He seemed cute and badass at the same time.

His gaze went up to me, feeling his piercing gaze at mine. Damn.. if our village has someone like him. I thought as heat overshadowed my face. Sasuke's eyes shot to where he was looking at and had found me. "Let's go." He had ordered his team mates. "Hey you!" Sasuke called. The blonde girls face turned red. "Me?" His gaze went to the red head. "Not you. The one with the gourd in the back. What's your name?" His eyes shot up to his. "Gaara of the Sand. I'm interested of your name as well."

"Sasuke Uchiha." He muttered. Naruto butted in. "Hey! I bet you're dying to know my name!" He beamed but the red head had shook him off. "Not interested." Naruto went a bit depressed. Sakura had called. "State your village and your reason!" The blonde girl looked at her in annoyance. "Had you lived under a rock? We're here for the chunin exams." Naruto looked at the Hokage's grandson. "What's a chunin exam?" He asked. "It's a test we're we become chunin!"  Everyone sweatdropped.

Her emerald eyes looked at me on top of the wall. "Akane! What are you doing there?" I jumped down to them. "I overheard the ruckus and went to see it." Her gaze narrowed noticing the faint blush on my cheeks. "Why are you blushing?" My hands went upwards, shaking it off. "I- I wasn't blushing! Or anything to check him out!" Oops! My hand went quickly to my mouth. "Checking out who?" My eyebrows twitched at her question. She shouldn't prying into my business. "Why would I tell you?"  Her eyes widened in surprise. "Aha! You're here to check out Sasuke-kun's hotness, weren't you?" I shook my head repeatedly. "It's not that."

Their eyes went down to us. Naruto couldn't seem to help but listen, noticing that Akane's cheeks were a darn red. Sasuke couldn't help but become curious as well. "Well who is it?" I grumbled some curses, refusing to spill the beans. "There you guys are." Kakashi came to us, with his other head holding his book while the other was holding some documents. "Kakashi-sensei!" Saved by the bell.

"I've came here and forgot to tell you something." He told us, while the Hokage's grandson beside Naruto. He gave each and one of us a paper. "What is this?" Naruto asked. "It's the application letters for the chunin exam." We all looked at him. "You need to sign it for you to join but it's up to you whether or not you'd participate."

Sakura stared at hers warily while I looked at mine as well. I need to reach to the top in order to get more connections and intel on the death of my mother. I need to be stronger as well, if I wanted to kill my mom's killer by my hands. My hands gripped the sheet tightly. "I'll be expecting you all to gather at the examinations room, the informarion is also already there. Ja ne!" He disappeared in a poof of smoke. "I'll become Hokage, believe it!" We went on our way to our houses. Sakura had went to the right while Naruto had run pass the left. I continued on staight with Sasuke walking silently, behind me.

"Akane." My feet stopped just beside the lamp post, seeing that the sun came down. "Tell me. Who was it?" I slowly take a look from him, his hands inside his pockets. "Why would you concern yourself for such a useless fact?" His face remained impassive, his hair slightly moved from the wind. I sighed in annoyance. "It was Gaara. What now?" He merely grunted, whispering words that I would unable to hear. "Stay away from him." My face morphed into a frown. "You don't have to tell me." I walked discreetly, but his hand quickly grabbed my arm. A single leaf fell from the tree, swaying pass in front of us. "Sasuke, leave me alone." I pried my arms off of him but he only gripped tighter.

His face showed anger, probably of my defiance. "You will do as I say." I wriggled my arm out but he was too strong for me. "Why would I-" He yanked my arm, pushing me in front of his face. My left hand had touched his chest for support. His hand that had clutched to my arm slowly drew it back, down to my hand. This was close to my comfort zone.

His face came nearer to me that I have to tilt my head downwards to avoid his intense stare. My heart beats were raging inside that I felt like a ticking time bomb ready to explode. "You are mine." I faced him and glared. "I don't belong to anyone." He let out his infamous grin. "I'll show you." Red added color to my pale cheeks, feeling his cool touch with my bare skin. His warm breath had brushed on my neck. His hands had already gripped on the fabric so that my neck was accessible to his view. "You had tortured me long enough, Akane. It's time for me to do the favor." My eyes closed feeling his teeth nipped my skin.

"Do you know how hard it was for me to control myself in front of everyone huh, Akane?" His mouth went closer to my ear in a hushed whisper. "This is how I get even." A soft gasp escaped my lips as he sucked on the nape of my neck. I could feel his tongue on my skin. He quickly let go of his mouth. My mind went hazy, I couldn't even control my own body that I didn't even push him away or use my jutsu. I had let him get to me, and it was my fault.
