Chapter 19

I woke up in the middle of the night in Jason's arms on the couch. I guess we fell asleep watching movies. I was still kinda sad from what happened last night. I didn't get why Lucas was mad at me. It made me sad when he was mad at me.

"Yazmin..."

My thoughts were interrupted by Lucas's raspy voice calling my name. It was so sexy.

"Yes?"

"Come here ma..."

I walked upstairs and he was standing at the top of the stairs with no shirt on and some basketball shorts.

He pulled me in for a hug and kissed me.

I was kinda shocked but I kissed back.

"I love you so much...." he said burying his face in the crook of my neck.

".....I um...I love you too..."

I felt myself being lifted up off the floor. Lucas carried me bridal style to his room and laid me down on his bed.

He laid down next to me and we got under the covers and he pulled me closer to him so my back was against his chest. I felt....safe and loved for once.

"Lucas why were you so mad at me...." I asked

"I don't know...I apologize tho....I ain't mean to yell at you like that cause I know you sensitive" he laughed a little.

".....it's ok...you going back to sleep?"

"Not if you wanna stay up....."

"I don't...you can go back to sleep"

"Ok goodnight baby"

"Goodnight.."

It was the next morning and I woke up in Lucas's arms. He was still sleep so I just laid there and grabbed my phone. I was scrolling through Instagram and I seen Asia post a picture and the caption said " 5 months 👶🏽❤️ " . She was pregnant?

I went to her page and scrolled down and seen pictures of her and Lucas. They were all cuddled up and stuff. This was the days before he got into that coma. I was kinda curious to know what was going on. But I'll just leave it alone.

I put my phone down and tried going back to sleep.

Lady

I woke up and went downstairs and seen Jason sleeping. I couldn't go back to sleep so I just slid up under him and he pulled me closer to him. I felt good. I grabbed my phone and tried texting August again.

- hey 9:56 a.m.
               Read 9:57 a.m.

- August. 9:58 a.m.
               Read 9:58 a.m.

- can you just let me know your ok? 😪  9:59 a.m.
               Read 9:59 a.m.

Aug: don't worry bout me . 😂✌🏾️ 10:01 a.m.
                Read 10:02 a.m.

- wya ? 😩  10:02 a.m.
                 Read 10:03 a.m.

I just sighed and put my phone down and tried going back to sleep. It wasn't working tho. This baby would not keep still. I just closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.
