Chapter 26

Lucas

I drove Lady to the hospital and when we got there I took her inside and the nurses took her back.

She been back there for a while now. Me and my girlfriend, Angie, was sitting in the waiting room. She was nagging me.

"Baby come on I wanna go homeeeee"

She was all up on me. "Get off me. We'll leave in a minute. Stop whining."

She rolled her eyes. "Whatever"

I rolled my eyes and then the doctor came out. Perfect timing.

"Za'Riyah Brown?" I stood up and walked over to him.

"Yes"

"Well she had a scare but it wasn't a miscarriage or anything. She can go but she needs to be on bed rest for the next month which is for the rest of her pregnancy"

"Ok thanks Doc"

"No problem. If you can just sign her release papers that would be great"

I signed the papers and they wheeled Lady out on a wheel chair. Looked like she was half sleep.

She got up and I helped her to the car. We got in and pulled off. I dropped Angie off at home then I took Lady home to Jason and I went home.

When I got home, Yazmin was sitting on the couch watching tv.

"Hey"

She just looked at me then back at the tv.

"So you ignoring me now?"

She just continued to look at the tv.

"Whatever man" I walked upstairs and laid down.

--- 1 month later ---

Lady

I was so tired of being on bed rest. It was boring and annoying. I was having cramps like every day too. I was ready for this baby to come out. I got up to use the bathroom and I thought I peed on myself.

"Ew what the hell" I rolled my eyes and walked to the bathroom and struggled to get my pants off and I realized it wasn't pee. My water broke.

"Oh shit....JASON!"

He came in the room. "What nowwww" he was whining. I don't blame him. He was waiting on me all week doing shit for me. This is probably like the 30th time I asked him to come back upstairs to do something for me. But this was really important.

"My water broke..."

"Oh shit....ok uh hold on" he ran to the other room.

"Where are you going?!"

He came back in with the wheelchair.

"Jason you can't roll me down the steps!"

"Oh you right...you right" he picked me up and took me downstairs. "You kinda heavy baby no offense"

"Thanks" I rolled my eyes.

"I love you tho" he carried me to the car and put me in and got in and pulled off.

We got to the hospital and Jason said he called everybody. I was in so much pain. The nurses took me back to this room and changed me out of my clothes into a ugly hospital robe thing. They put my hair in a cap and put me on this table. Then right off the bat they told me it was time to push.

"Wait don't I get like I shot or something so I don't feel the pain?!"

"Miss we really don't have time your in labor right now. You've actually been in labor and you didn't even know it. I don't think the shot is necessary"

"But my water JUST broke and I didn't feel any pain"

"We know just relax right now. We need you to push"

Jason

I waited out in the waiting room and I seen Yazmin and Lucas come in.

"She's back there?!" Yazmin asked all excited

I laughed a lil. "Yeah"

"I'm so excitedddd" she smiled

Lucas was on his phone.

"What's wrong with you?" I asked

"Nothing....."

I sighed & sat down. "Yaz sit down you so hyper"

She sat down laughing. "I'm just so excited"

"I can see"

It's been like 3 hours and we was still waiting. Yaz was sleep and Lucas was talking to his girlfriend on the phone arguing.

This was gon be a long night.
