I was at the hospital with my mom. The doctors said she was dying but she looked fine to me. She said she felt fine so these doctors gotta be wrong. My mama has a whole lot of faith in God for her to be dying.

"Ma you sure you ok?"

"I'm fine. I just wanna get out of this damn hospital."  She came out the bathroom complaining. "This nasty ass bathroom. Where ya brother at?"

"Ion know I called him he ain't answer" I said sitting down.

"Call him again" she laid back down.

"Ma he ain't gon answer"

"Just call him"

I sighed and called him.

"Hello?"

"Wow you finally answer."

"Nigga wtf you want I was sleep?!"

"Ma wanted me to call you so shut the fuck up"

"All that cussing need to stop" she said.

"What she want?"

"Ion know prolly to talk to you"

"Just give me the phone"

I gave her the phone.

"Where you been at?" She was talking to him and they started arguing and she just hung up on him.

I took my phone back.

"He makes me sick sometimes I swear" she sighed.

Lady

I couldn't go back to sleep after I woke up so I decided to text August to try and talk to him one more time.

- hey ..... 12:20 p.m.

- Aug I'm really sorry 12:25 p.m.
Read 12.27 p.m.

- can we please talk ? 😪 12:28 p.m.
Read 12:30 p.m.

Aug: I ain't got nothing to talk to you about Za'Riyah. 12:34 p.m.
Read 12:34 p.m.

- I just wanna apologize .... please just talk to me 😪💔 12:35 p.m.
Read 12:37 p.m.

Aug: nah you good . 12:39 p.m.
Read 12:39 p.m.

- August please 😪 I fucked up I know 💔 please can we just talk about it 😪😪 12:41 p.m.

he didn't text back after that. I was so hurt man. I was hurt because I know I hurt him. I know I did. I think I knew where he was tho. I need to talk to him. I HAVE to talk to him.

I got up and grabbed my keys and went to my car and pulled off to the hospital where his mom was.

I got there and got out and went up to her room. I knocked and she said come in. I walked in and seen the same nigga that was all hugged up on Yazmin at the house sitting there on his phone.

"Hey Riyah" she smiled.

"Hey" I hugged her.

That was my second mom. Lucas's mom was my first. To August's mom, I was always her daughter in law.

"When did you get pregnant and why didn't August tell me I was gonna be a grandma" she was smiling.

"Um...well-"

"I mean damn it's about time somebody had a kid so I can be a grandma" she said looking at the boy who was sitting there.

He just rolled his eyes.

"Um...mama it's not....the baby isn't August's..."

"Oh......who's is it?"

".....Jason.." I kinda hesitated to tell her.

"Oh ok.....does August know..."

"Yeah....he won't talk to me....we haven't talked in about 5 months...."

"What?"

"Yeah....he's pretty upset with me...." I started tearing up. "I know I messed up but I hate him being mad at me....he won't return any of my calls or texts"

"Aw baby don't cry....you know he still loves you no matter what..." She hugged me.

"Ion think he loves me anymore....I really messed up..." I said.

I just wanted him to stop being mad at me. I hair wanted him to talk to me again. I don't why I was so worried when I have Jason. I'm still in love with August tho. Ugh. I hate my life right now.
