I walked out to the front yard to see Zander not cleaning, but doing slow motions with his hands and arms. He was doing taichi, a form of martial arts I had learned aside from taekwondo. However, he clearly wasn't cleaning, which made me cross my arms and glare at him.

"Aren't we supposed to be cleaning the front yard?"

"You were taking too long. I already finished cleaning."

"Yeah right."

I looked around the front and noticed that the windows were polished, the weeds were pulled, the lamps were wiped down, and the stairs were swept. He really dd finish cleaning. Blake wasn't kidding when he said Zander had extreme speed.

I chuckled a bit, "Wow. You work fast."

Zander smirked but didn't respond. He kept his eyes closed and continued doing his taichi. For a guy who wanted to be a badass, I would imagined him doing hard strength workouts or wrestling a bear. Taichi was one of the last things I expected out of him. I stood there staring at him not really knowing what to do, so I figured I would join him. I remained quiet as I stood beside him and began to move along with him. He was going slow, so it was easy to follow along.

Zander paused and stared at me, "What are you doing?"

"What does it look like I'm doing."

"Hmph. This isn't supposed to be fun, okay? It's actually supposed to be difficult."

"I know."

Zander then closed his eyes and continued doing his taichi. I began to copy his motions again as well. He opened an eye to peak at me without breaking his motions. A small smile graced his lips while he closed his eyes and went back to his motions. I followed along flawlessly; keeping up to his speed. It was very relaxing... Until I managed to trip over my own feet and land on top of him.

"OOF! H-Hey! Watch it!" Zander grunted.

I felt my cheeks burning red, "I-I'm sorry!"

I was literally on top of Zander, staring eye to eye with him. Neither of us could stop blushing, nor did either of us move from the ground. I could hear my heart pounding against my chest. Zander didn't move a muscle but just stared up at me in embarrassment. I eventually moved up off him and brushed myself off still having a large blush on my face. Zander sat up and rubbed the back of his head.

"Man... If you wanted to get on top of me you could of just asked."

"S-Shut up! It wasn't like that."

"Chill out, doofus. I was just messing. Watch where you're going next time before you work out with the big boys."

I nodded. He stood up and looked up at me for a moment. I could see in his eyes that he was concerned if i had hurt myself in the fall, but something stopped him from asking. I smiled at him before walking back into the house. I heard him sigh before I walked out of earshot.

The hour of the house party had arrived. In my mind, I kept double and triple checking everything for the party. Knowing my dad, he invited his business partners and the executives of the Anderson Company to show me off. I stood in front of my mirror as a million thoughts ran through my mind. I looked at my velvet red and black dress, it was skin tight, but still classy. I added a set of pearls around my neck for finishing touches of classiness.

I knew it was just a housewarming party, but at the same time it wasn't. It was a chance to show my parents that I could exceeded their expectations, and that I was ready to live on my own. Well, not truly alone. I had the incubi with me, but even so, I didn't have my parents helping me so much anymore. A knock on my closed door broke me from my thoughts.
