I just rang the doorbell of Marinette's house when Adrien's face suddenly appeared.

"Adrien?"

"Anna?"

The door opened revealing Mari.

"Omg, thank you for coming Anna!"

"Haha, no prob"

"Wait, Adrien?..."

"Hey Marinette. Bryan called me, he said you were looking for someone who speaks chinese"

"Great! I need all the help i can get! Anna, are these flowers good enough? My uncle is a perfectionist cook so-"

"Mari calm down, the flowers look fantastic"

"Really?"

"Yeah" i smiled and patted her on the back

When her uncle came, she practically stuttered all the way. I also laughed at the fact when we knew that he speaks english. Although its not that good.

So today, we're going to watch a cooking competition wherein the winner's food will be the grand palace's main entrée. When we got there, guess who immediately hugged Adrien.

Chloe.

Cheng Shifu went to the kitchen to start preparing for the competition.

"Hmph, Marinette, your uncle doesn't even stand a chance"

"And how would you know that?"

"Haven't you heard? I'm in the jury" she said with a flip of her hair

"So?? Its not like your vote means anything to us" i said

"Ugh! I hate soups! So that man shouldn't even think of winning!"

"If i had a pen right now,i'd write the words 'i don't give a damn' on your forehead."

" that's right. My uncle's soup is legendary. I'm sure he will win"

"You're making a big mistake, Marinette Dupain-Cheng"

I pulled Marinette away from her and glared.

"Chloe, I am this close to getting a pen and write on your face"

She scoffed and left in a jiffy. When she left, we let out a sigh.

"Thanks Anna"

"No prob, Mari" I smiled

Marinette decided to walk and answer the call of Bryan, so she excused herself.

Great. Now I'm left with Adrien!

"Hey Anna"

"Hm?"

"You should stop fighting Chloe"

"She's the one who started it"

"But at least try t-"

I couldn't help but turn at Adrien with a glare.

"Why do you care? This is between us and Chloe. She fought a friend of mine, and I won't let that pass"

"Anna, I-"

"If you want to protect Chloe from me, then do so. I won't stop you."

I was about to walk away when he suddenly put his hands on my shoulders.

"Anna, listen!"

"No! I won't! Let go of me!" I struggled, only for him to hug me

"ADRIEN! LET GO OF ME!"
