chapter 10

''Ouch!'' I said waking up with a banging headache. I slowly sat up holding my head in pain.

''Ava you're wake!'' Tanner said rushing over to me and wrapping his arms around me. I hugged him back and i felt my eyes welling up with tears, I held on to Tanner not wanting to let go.

''Does your head hurt?'' Tanner said looking at me concerned. 

''yeah a bit.'' i said looking up at Tanner he gave me a worried look.

''I will be back in a minute.''Tanner said walking out the room.

i wonder where's he gone, I laid back down on the very uncomfortable hospital bed. The door opened and Tanner came back with a nurse who looked she was in her early forties .

''Hi Ava your boyfriend said that your head hurts is that right?'' The nurse said walking over to me.

''yeah it does'' i said looking at the nurses name badge and her name was Florence.

''Okay I can help you with that take these paracetamol and your headache will start to go in a few minutes.'' Florence said passing me 2 white pills and some water.

''Is there anything else you need while i'm here.'' Florence smiling.

''Do you know when i'm aloud to go home?'' I asked Florence.

''Sorry to tell you this but not till tomorrow.'' Florence said half smiling.

''That's okay thanks for your help.'' i smiling.

''My pleasure also you have a sweet boyfriend don't let him go'' Florence said grinning and walking out, making me and Tanner go bright red.

I looked at tanner and he looked at me and started laughing. I stopped laughing because my head hurt.

''That was quite funny!'' Tanner said laughing at me and sitting at the edge of the hospital bed.

''Yeah the nurse was really nice.'' i said looking at Tanner grinning.

''Yeah she was.'' Tanner said looking at me lovingly. This boy makes my heart swell with happiness. Tanner walked over and i moved over in the hospital bed making room for Tanner.

Tanner climbed next to me and wrapped his arms around he pulling me into his chest and I wrapped my arms around his waist; Tanner kissed my head making  butterflies appear in my stomach.

''I'm sorry.'' Tanner said looking guilty. what is he sorry for I thought giving Tanner a confused look.

''What are you sorry for?'' i questioned him, raising an eyebrow. Tanner sat there looking guilty.

''I shouldn't of let you go to target by yourself, even though you insisted it's all my fau-'' Tanner was saying but i interfered by grabbing his head and smashing my lips on his soft ones. Tanner kissed back, I wrapped my arms around his neck pulling him closer if that was even possible.

I pulled away and resting my forehead on tanner and looking into his eyes and slightly smiling.

''I love you'' I said still resting my forehead on his.

''I love you more.'' Tanner said passionately, I felt a smile creep on my face.

''Hey guyys... whoops bad timing'' Corey said walking and laughing. I pulled away from Tanner and slightly laughing at him but mostly going as red as a tomato for the second time today.

''I see your better Ava.'' Corey said laughing at me and Tanner. 

''yeah i only have a mild headache now.'' i said smiling at him and he nodded smiling.

Capron,Jake and Tanners mom walked through the hospital holding either flowers, chocolates or get well soon balloons. 

Tanners mom walked over to me developing me into a bone crushing hug. ''I'm glad you alright when tanner found out you were missing he was mess.'' Tanners mom whispered into my ear for only me to hear. She gave me some chocolates which is heaven right now because the hospital food is utter sh*t. I said thank you to Tanners mom.

Capron walked over hugged me and gave me some pretty colourful flowers and i smiled at him and said thank you. Lastly Jake came over and gave me some balloons and hugged me, i thanked him. I'm so grateful for my friends and my amazing boyfriend, i can't imagine where i would be now without them...hate to think like this but i will probably be dead right now.

We hung out in my hospital room for a couple hours just hanging out and talking. Everyone left saying goodbyes. I laid back closing my eyes from tiredness and then i felt tanner move me over a bit so he can fit and pulled me close to him and i drifted of to sleep.
