3 months later
"TANNER CAN YOU GET ME PICKLES AND PEANUTBUTTER PLEASE!" I shouted to tanner who was in the kitchen. "have you got weird cravings again."Tanner shouted back.
"yeah, I don't even like pickles," I admitted, I sat back on the couch and my hand naturally rested on my growing bump. My life has changed so much these past months if I didn't meet tanner god knows where I would be right now, he's has done so much for me.
"here's your peanutbutter and pickles," Tanner said fake gagging and passed me it. I dipped the pickle in the creamy peanut butter and bit into it and moaned because of how delicious it was to me. Tanner sat next to me looking at me weird. I finished it and put the plate in the sink and waddled back into the sitting room and plopped on the couch and rested my feet on the coffee table.
"sh*t I almost forgot I've got my 3-month checkup in 30 minutes," I said racing to get up and put my white converses on and walked to my car and Tanner followed, we have to leave earlier because traffic is horrendous.
Tanner rested his hand on my thigh and smiled, I smiled back. Boys take notes little things like this will win your girl's, heart. We finally arrived at the hospital thing and walked in, well I waddled into the building and told the receptionist my name and sat down on the very uncomfortable chairs.
"AVA ANDERSON!"
An obnoxious voice shouted my name and I gratefully got up out of those chairs and followed the women into a small room with white walls. "lie down on the bed please" the women requested me to do. I swung my legs on the bed and lied down, Tanner stood next to me and held my hand softly making my nerves disappear instantly. "So today we are going to do a scan and we can find out the gender if you want?" the women asked.
"we were wondering if you write down the gender on a piece of paper and put it in an envelope because we are going to a surprise gender party," I asked hopefully. The DR nodded and put a freezing gel on my stomach and rubbed the stick thing around, then we looked away not wanting to ruin the surprise. I heard rustling and pen writing on paper, The thought that on that piece of paper says what gender my first child is made my spine shiver.
"you can look now," said the doctor and she handed me an envelope.
"everything looks fantastic to do you guys have any questions?" she asked, we both shook our heads and I climbed down from the bed.
"bye guys see you soon," the doctor said waving.
"bye," we said in sync and we both laughed.
4 hours later Tanner and Ava are about to go sleep
"Tanner, what gender do you want the baby to be?" I asked. He looked and me with a sweet glint in his eye and smiled.
"I don't care what gender the baby is all I care about is if it healthy but I would like a baby girl so she can be my princess and you would be my queen," Tanner said making my eyes well up with tears and a few an escape, Tanner reached up and wiped them away.
"I agree with your answer," I said wrapping my arms around tanner and embracing him and he held on to me tight making forget single worries I have.
