chapter 17

2 months later gender reveal party 

So today's the day I find out the gender of my first child, wow that's weird saying I didn't think I will be saying that for another couple years but I guess everything happens for a reason. I rested my hand on my ever growing bump and wondered what the next years are gonna bring.

"Ava you ready" 

"yeah... I will be out now" I answered tanner, while I added the last of my mascara and I opened the bathroom door, faced with an extremely happy Tanner looking at me with love filling his eyes.

"Ava you look beautiful," Tanner said pulling me into a hug, wrapping his hands around my back.  I put my hands around his neck and my head on his chest listening to his heartbeat.

"We should go downstairs, I should help your mum I feel bad for letting her do everythi..." 

"AVA...your 5 months pregnant and she wants to do this for us, don't stress it's not good for our baby love," Tanner said pulling out of our hug and holding my hands.

"Ok, I guess" I looked up to Tanner smiling.

Tanner and I walked downstairs and into the backyard and I've never seen anything beautiful, the garden had tables filled with blue and pink cups, plates and cupcakes and I saw a black balloon that paints with either blue or pink filled waiting for Tanner and me to pop it. 

Tanner mom came over and pulled us into a hug, not saying anything just enjoying our company. 

"This is absolutely amazing thank you so so much," I said pulling Tanner's mom into a huge hug.

"sweetie no need to say thank you, it makes me so happy to be organizing my granddaughter or sons gender party." She said with a huge smile on her face.

'KNOCK' 'KNOCK' 

"That will be the guests, stay there I will get it," Tanner said kissing my head and walking away. 

Jake, Maverick, Jacob Darezzo, Corey funk and Capron and a few others walked in with presents and huge smiles.

I have had such an amazing time and the best has yet to come, I can't thank mine and Tanners friends and family enough. 

'Tanner I think its time" I said walking over to the balloon with tanner's hand in hand. We got handed a needle to pop it and everyone gathered around with their phones out. Jeez why am I so nervous, I can feel butterflies forming in my stomach.

"RIGHT 1...2...3...AHGGGG IS A...GIRLLLLLLL" me, tanner and everyone screamed. Tears pricked in, my eyes daring to escape. Tanner ran over hugging me but being careful of our daughter and swang me around. 

OMG OMG OMG I'm going to be having a daughter a little girl I can dress up and call my little princess and love forever and ever.
