Chapter 18

I couldn't wait I got to spend a whole day with Cade and to get to know him better and now I think about it I don't know him that well and I don't think he knows we well at all.

Since I wasn't going to school I had to call in sick, I pretended the best I can and the actually bought it so I got off without a mess. After that I decided to change into what I think was the laziest outfit I could find in the closet because I wasn't going out anywhere.

I decided on a gray tank top and a pair of shorts and I put my hair in a messy bun and wore my uggs. I decided to stay in my room until Cade was ready with the things, so I decided to read a book, the book I got out was called A court of mist and fury ( AN: if u know where's that from I love u😘and back to the story. )

I finished like 20 pages before Cade came in with a onesie and the onesie was a turtle and he look cute in it, he was also carrying some junk food like chips and chocolate and he was also carrying board games and popcorn in the other hand. " Lucy, you look perfect as always" he said with a grin and I blushed. You don't look so bad yourself Cade who knew you had a cuddly side. By the time I said that he had sat on the floor and started setting up for our day together.

             Ok let's start, how about 20 questions? "Ok, whatever you want to do" Ok you first ask me anything. " Ok, lets see... when did you have your  first kiss" he said with a smirk on his face I blushed recalling the memory because it was so embarrassing. Well I had my first kiss  when I was in eighth grade and there was this guy who I liked but I didn't think he like me back so when my and my friends were playing truth or dare and my friends decided that they wanted me to tell him how I feel so they dared me to kiss him and I did it and he was not that pleased but if that wasn't embarrassing enough they decided to tell the whole school and I was so embarrass.

"Since you did that to me now I'm going to give you a hard one" I said but couldn't think of something until I remembered I don't know his age, what if he was 30 and he had a crush on me or if he was too old for me and- then I noticed that he was trying to get my attention. "Sorry I got distracted ok, how old are you" I said. "He gave me a weird look and his eye looked like he was going say I should know.  "I'm 16 just like you" I was surprised and confused " If your 16 why aren't you at school?" "Well I get homeschooled here at the house while your at school." He said

"Ok my turn... tell me about why you ran away from home" he said calmly as if he thought I couldn't handle. " I was tired of my mom and her drinking and she would always say it was my fault that dad died also she would beat me sometimes so one day I snapped had enough of her crap and left without saying a thing." I said, by the end of it my eyes were on the verge of crying and suddenly Cade came and pulled me into a hug. "I'm sorry I didn't know that it would hurt you that bad talking about it." I kissed him and told him that everything was okay.

        After that we played a little more and I found out that Cade got adopted by Albert when he was 5 and was trained like a soldier.

        After a few hours we went into our own rooms and few asleep with smiles on our faces.
