Part 14

Lucy POV

In the morning I was still scared about the letter so I decided to tell Cade about it but first I needed to get ready for the day. My prep team came in and I decided to hop in the shower. When I got out I found my outfit which was a black sweater and blue jeans with cute boots on my bed which was also made. My team decides to leave me in charge of my makeup and hair because I wasn't going anywhere today. I decide to put my hair in a ponytail and put on a little makeup before I went to breakfast. When I got down I saw my parents and Cade talking so I sat down quietly and enjoy my breakfast. But before I got to my seat Cade saw me " Hey rose, how was yesterday with Riley,did you guys have fun." I was about to answer but then I ask, Are you spying on me Cade I say joking. He said " Maybe I was but you should tell us where you are beca- I stop him mid-sentence. I don't need your protection Cade I could take car of myself I said a bit too loud. But before I can say I'm sorry my "dad" said " That's enough Rose, Cade was trying to help you he didn't try to get you angry. But I was angry so I decided to take a granola bar and went back to my room.

Cade POV

I felt bad for Lucy, I didn't mean to get her angry so I decided to go to her room after breakfast. When I got to her room she was crying in her bed that was heart breaking I felt so bad for her I didn't know I was that mean.

               Lucy, I said after a minute I'm sorry for being mean to you so can you stop crying. She sat up and decided to slap me it hurt but I deserve that, "Why are you so mean to me do you know how hard my life is and finally I have a home for a while and your insulting me every chance you get. Wow is that what she really thinks I feel. I can't keep it in anymore I decided to kiss her for a second she kissed back and I decided to pull away and leave her room without her saying anything.
