Lucy POV
As I ran into my room I got tears on my face and I started crying as I lay on my bed. 10 minutes of crying in room I hear my door open and I see Cade come in. "Lucy, I'm sorry for yelling at you and kissing you" As I looked up he looked so sad and tears were on the rim of his eyes I... he started but I stopped him with a kiss before he could finish.
Look, Cade I like you and you need to listen to what I have to say before interrupting me ok ?I said and he nodded. I need your help and I don't want you to get mad at me every time I keep a secret because I can't face you when you're mad ok and for me liking you I do I have since you kissed me and I think you like or you wouldn't have kis- this time he kissed me instead and I wrapped my arms around him. We stayed like that for about a good two minutes before he broke off to breath. " You were talking too much" he said after we finished and I laughed.
After that, he went back to his room and I fell asleep. I woke up and remembered I had school and needed to confront Jake and tell him it's over. My prep team dressed me in a white tee and a flannel with a hat and with combat boots. This outfit was cute and tomboyish so I decided to go to breakfast and when I was there I saw Cade there reading while drinking some tea, He didn't notice me until I had sat down and poured my own tea. " Hey how are you this fine morning" he said happily. I had to laugh " it was great sir" I said happily,Sir is was to formal why did I say that he must think that I think he like a 40 something why am I such a bad flirt but now I think about it how old is he and where was he from and I just realized that we know nothing about each other so I said " Hey what are you doing today" he looked shocked and he was completely speechless for a second and then said " Nothing what you have in mind ms." Well... I was thinking I could skip school and we could have a personal day together to get to know each other? He thought for a second and simply said "Yes"
