Chapter 4

Frisk's POV
"So, you ready kiddo?" Sans asked as I was sharpening my katana. I nodded.

"Yep, I'm all set" I said as I finished sharpening my katana.

"Good luck kiddo, hey, don't die out there. Cause someone really cares about ya" he said and teleported back to his office. I sighed.

"Ok, got a few healing items... not too much so I have less weight on me... a spare knife, hand cuffs just in case...." I mumbled to myself before knowing I was completely sure I was set. I finally ventured out.

Chara's POV
I got here sooner than I expected. And man, this town was pretty easy to eradicate. I just set the whole town in flames; killed everyone in my way. That so called 'best lieutenant' is pretty late... I thought he was going to meet me here.

As I shot a woman mercilessly, I saw a shadowy figure waiting for me on the roof top. I grinned. That must be him. I leapt up and met up wih him on the other side of said building.

"You're a little late 'best lieutenant', I'm surprised you even showed up" I taunted as I walked towards him, gun in hand. He turned to me. He really did look like... what was his name?...

"I'm not gonna back down from the likes of you, red-eyed demon" he said as he pulled out his katana. A katana? Huh... I remember someone fighting with a sword when I was little...

"Red-eyed demon? That's what they're calling me? Wow..." I scoffed. We were both in a ready stance before we lunged at eachother.

"Ngah!" He exclaimed as he tried to slash me across my neck but I deflected the blow with my gun. I smirked and aimed for his head. I fired... and he dodged?! How the hell did he dodge a bullet?!

Frisk's POV
"How did....?!" She asked, shocked. I chuckled.

"Let's just say I've dodged alot of things" I smirked and striked her again. She blocked the blow with her gun. She then giggled. That giggle... no... it must be a coincidence...

"You remind me of someone, but I can't remember who" she said as she fired at me. I dodged the bullet again.

"Who could that be?" I asked. She glared at me.

"I just said I couldn't remember who you idiot" she snapped as our weapons clashed. Gun to sword. How? I don't know. She leapt back and fired. But she missed.

"Careful or you'll run outta bullets" I taunted. She growled.

"Where'd you learn to dodge like that?!" She asked, obviously pissed.

"I'm not gonna tell you, you probably don't know the place even existed" I said as I refered to the underground but I don't think she caught on.

"Hello?" Someone called. I looked around. Where'd that voice come from? I looked towards the red-eyed demon. Apparently, her watch was talking.

"What is it mother? I'm in the middle of a fight" she snapped. Her mother...?

"Well sorry to interrupt but I'm here to congratulate you. You may leave, your mission is complete" her mother said. The red-eyed demon's eye (she only had one since the other was covered by a bandage) widened.

"But what about this lieutenant? You frickin forced me to train just to fight this guy, no, totured is more of better term" she exclaimed. She looked at me and fired. I dodged. This would be the time to slash her down but... for some reason, I felt like I didn't want to.

"Well if that's how you call your training then that's your view." Her mother stated. The red-eyed demon growled and turned her watch off. She attacked me, not with her gun but with her fist. I couldn't react fast enough; I got hit and stumbled back a bit.

"You know if you're tired of your mother torturing you, you can just quit" I said. "It would make my job alot easier"

"As if I'm gonna surrender now; and my mother would torture me even more. Anyway why do you care?" She scoffed.

"The only reason you're doing this is because of your mother?" I asked as I slashed at her. I was able to cut her leg. It wasn't a deep cut but it was enough to make her stumble back a bit.

"No, I'm doing this because I need to find the reason I was created. And regain my memories" she said as she fired. She almost got my arm.

"Regain your memories?" I asked and attacked her again. She deflected the blow with her foot and nodded. "Why what happened to them?"

"My mother injected some sort of liquid into me. Well, it doesnt matter to her what happens to me, she just wants me to do her orders." She replied.

"Do you remember anything at all?" I asked before attacking again. She dodged the slash this time.

"Well, my mother told me that I was raised by a horrible family that she had to kill just to get to me. But I don't think I believe that. The only thing I've got" she said and showed me her golden heart shaped pendant... wait a minute... my eyes widened. "Is this. I feel like it was given to me by someone special... I'm not sure. But when my mother showed me a picture of you, I felt like you looked familiar"

No... no this couldn't be... I gave Chara that exact pendant...

"Where did you find that?" I asked, dodging the bullet she fired.

"I just woke up with it around my neck" she said. She shook her head rapidly. "Wait why am I telling you all this?! I should be killing you!"

We fought for a few more minutes. I took alot of blows, not bullets, until she knocked the katana out of my hand. It landed on the edge of the building. I ran to get it but she pinned me down.

"Wow, some lieutenant you are, but I muat admit you have some skills. But it's time to say goodbye" she said as she pointed her gun at my head. I clenched my eye shut and waited for her to fire. But it never came. I opened my eye and saw that she ran out of bullets. She kept pulling the trigger in hopes that at least one bullet would come out but to no avail. I smirked and pinned her down. She struggled in my grip.

"You have two choices. Either I kill you or you surrender to me" I said. She glared at me and tried to get up again.

"I'm not surrending to the likes of you! You don't even have a weapon to kill me with; your katana is all the way over there" she said as she nodded to where my katana was.

"That wasn't the only weapon I have" I said as I took out my spare knife. "So, what's it gonna be? Surrender or death?"
