Hey guys, sorry for the long wait, but I haven't been in the mood lately to write anything.

I awoke to the same smell from the woods; vanilla and blood. It was stronger this time though. I lunged forward to a sitting position but was restrained by something.

I wasn't sure what though because I just woke up.

I opened my eyes and squinted to the light above my head, the bright beams seeped into my eyes making me close them instantly. I shot up faster and succeeded this time to be yanked into someone's body.

I was squeezed tight, not in a threatening way though. I opened my eyes to find a guy in his late teens cradling me. He looked down into my eyes and smiled, it was kinda strange though.

His eyes were a bright greenish hazel colour, and his wet, black hair was slopped onto one side of his head. I sat in his lap slowly examining him, when he suddenly tightened his grip on me and squeezed me so tight that I couldn't breath.

I wiggled around till his grip softened enough for me to slide out and turn to face him. He bolted up but sat down instantly because of the mad look on my face.

"Good morning" he whispered to me making me loosen up a little to his soft deep voice.

"Wh-who are you?" I stuttered. He raised from the seat and took a step to land right in front of me. His nose was an inch away from mine and his breath was warm.

"I'm Liam Olson, you must be Reigan, am I correct?"

"How do you know my name? I don't believe I know you." I stammered while flailing my arms in the air.

His next words crept up my spine.

"You don't, but I have been watching you from afar for years now. I know I want you." He stated and slowly kissed my cheek.

There it is again! That smell of vanilla and blood, but the time the blood was stronger.

I pushed him away and stood there staring at him. He stared at me concerned. Liam bolted up and grabbed my wrist.

"What are you doing!"

"Where did you get this mark!" He ordered. I turned my vision to my wrist.

"That's just a scar I got when I was little, from a car accident."

"Why does it look like that then!"

I examined it closely. I was always unsure of that, but my dad always told me it was from a car crash without any detail. I just believed him because he would become so mad if I brought it up.

"I don't know!" I yanked my hand away.

"Well, you should let me look!"

"It's never been a bother before, so I'm fine!" I retorted. What was this guys problem anyway.

"Fine, you stay here, not that you have a choice, and I'm going to get some dinner. Uhh... There's some chicken and rice at the table for you." He looked at me with loving eyes and flew out the door as a blur. He's the thing I saw in the woods!

I leaped towards the door to yank it open, but it was locked. I just gave up and sat at the table to eat.

--------------------

In the morning I woke up on a dark, red, leather couch in a big room. I turned my vision to see Liam's arms wrapped around me beside me on the couch. I sat up to have him fall right off the couch.

"Good morning." He said with a smirk.

"Where were you last night?"

"I went out for dinner"

"What about the chicken and rice?"

"I don't eat that stuff, I had a deer for dinner."

I stared at him with wide eyes. "What are you talking about?"

"Don't you know I'm a vampire?" Liam asked while rubbing the back of his neck.

I had no clue he was a vampire! But I guess it explains the blood smell, but I totally thought vampires had relocated because the wolves took over this territory.

I snapped back to reality to see him staring at me with a questionable look on his face. I must have been sitting here like a fool for awhile.

"U-uh... No... No I didn't." I said as he leaned forward and yanked me to him and my head rested on his bare chest.

"Just go back to sleep, it's three in the morning."

I closed my eyes and blacked out.

Sorry for the delay, but it's out now, and please don't forget to leave a vote and comment if you are enjoying my story.
