The Three Triangles

Reigan's POV

I feel I stinging feeling in my head at my temples and hear the Grimwald making an eerie laughing sound all around me as if they are air.

"Steffe-" I begin to scream till I am out all of a sudden

Steffen's POV

I stop and stand in the middle of the forest with Alex by my side panting.

"Where could she be!" I yell as if he can't hear me even though there is no sound in the entire area.

"I don't know... why don't you turn and sniff her out, a rogues sniffing skills aren't as good as a werewolf's are!" he pants.

"Ok" I say as I strip down and turn as fast as I can. Alex grab my clothes and I start to sniff.

It's faint, but I can smell her perfume and the smell of Alex's mutts, they ran through the forest in the direction of the star pack.

I tilt my head in the direction they are in and bolt off with Alex following me on foot. He's way way slower so I get a head start and come to a halt in the middle of a circle surrounded by tall trees.

"Steffe-" I hear and cock my head in the direction where my beautiful mate is.... stuck to a tree... by its branches?

"Welcome Steffen, we have been expecting you." a voice rumbles all around me.

"Who are you?" I stumble back.

"We are Grimwald, you've heard about us."

"Why do you want to kill my mate! She won't destroy you! She's not that kinda girl!" I beg on my knees as a high pitch stinging sound breaks through my head.

"That's not what it looks like." the voice growls and all of a sudden it becomes calm and peaceful again.

I bolt straight up and rush right over to Reigan who is now laying on the ground unconscious.

"Babe?" I say rubbing her shoulder. When she doesn't reply I pick her up in a cradle hold and carry her in the direction we came.

"Reigan! Oh thank god your alright." Alex whispers as he rushes up to us.

"What happened?" he asked.

"They just... disappeared." I smile looking down to my baby. When I look up, I see Alex's eyes filled with concern.

"What is it?"

"They are coming back you know.... to finish her..." he said as he peeled back her sleeve to uncover her wrist.

"Look at this, she's not just a hybrid.... she's part rogue and vampire too..... She just doesn't crave blood... but the fact she heals so much faster than any other is remarkable.... she is the most powerful person alive, and they won't hesitate to kill her next time they get the chance..... they are just going easy on us so we can spend more time with her." he frowns.

I look down at the scar; it's shaped like a star, three triangles... three species! She's part wolf, rogue and vampire... she's a hybrid!

"I can't believe I never saw this before."

"I can" he chuckles.

"We need to get her somewhere safe."

I start walking back to my truck and Alex follows behind me handing me my clothes.

"Here you go by the way.... just please get those on now." I turns away in disgust, so I hand him Reigan and hide behind a tree to change, then we make our way back.

My mom took away my phone for a week! I'm sorry! lol
