The Grimwald

"If you come with me, I will let Steffen live." He drops his forehead so it's placed on mine.

I look over at Stef who looks at Alex mad yet determined at the same time.

He winks at me.

"Fine." I growl. Alex whistles a little toon and two rogues come out of the trees, and drag me away. The last thing I see is Steffens pain filled face making me feel guilty as hell. His little puppy dog eyes burn to my soul making me regret what I had just done. I watch as Alex steps closer to Steffen and then I feel a sharp pain jolt through my body and darkness consumes me.

Steffens POV

I watch as Alex's minions drag my beautiful mate away from me, I am staring at her and see the guilt filled look on her face, but I have a plan anyway.

Alex slowly approaches me chuckling.

"So I win once again, but this time, I intend for it to stay that way, I mean... I am the only one that can protect her." His nose flares, his grin turns to an evil smirk and his nose cringes up.

"I have been protecting her just fine." I spit.

"They haven't even come yet..... you can't see it, can you?"

"See what?"

"The girl is a hybrid! I can protect her since I've known since I first met her in the town shop. I can protect her from him. She can be safe.

"What are you talking about, I think I would notice if my mate was a hybrid. besides, she can't be, she would be dead right now if she was."

"Only if it's too obvious, which it is becoming. They are coming for her."

"Who is? I will rip their head off in a second!"

"You can't do that, the Grimwald are invincible, except to a hybrid, which is why they kill every last one of them. they can sense her becoming more powerful. They are coming."

"I didn't think they actually existed, I just heard an ok folk tale when I was a kid, they seemed so unreal.... can they really flip any living creature inside out if they desire?"

"They can do anything Steffen, they see the future, her destiny is only known by them, and if this turns out how I think it will.... we have to help her."

"Where is she?" I franticly search around and listen and sniff... but there's nothing.

"Reigan!" I scream in our link, but there is no response.

"She's not linking me!" I yell at Alex who is running by my side in the direction that she was dragged in.

"Yeah! My guys aren't saying anything either!"

Reigan's POV

I bolt up at the sound of a voice, it is more creepy and mysterious than anything.

"Who is that!" I order.

"We found you" the voice chuckles.

My head is ringing and I'm now sitting on a pile of dirt and grass surrounded by trees tall enough to hide our whole town.

"Get up Reigan" the voice creeps closer and I jump.

"How do you know my name?" I bark and bounce to my feet trying to balance with my mind spinning around. once I recover I stand straight up and look around slowly bringing in my boundaries.

I see the two rogues, Alex sent to drag me away, laying on the ground, probably dead.

"Who are you!"

"We are the Grimwald, an have come to destroy you" deep laughter rumbles all around me.

"Why? what did I do."

"Nothing yet, but it is shown that you will."

"What will I do."

"Destroy us! we can't allow that, we can't be the most powerful creatures ever if we can be defeated!" More voices joined in and the yelling vibrated through my body.

"Reigan!" I hear in my min link. I'm about to reply when I am thrown by.... air, right against a tree and the branches wrap around my whole body making me unable to move.

"If you reply, we will kill him!" The Grimwald yells into my ears making them ring louder.

Sorry for the shorty, but I was too busy having fun... if you wanna go to California to go to Disney, I would recommend Knott's Berry Farm instead, like way better rides than Disney. Knott's was worth the flight lol.

Just saying I hated Disney so much, but that's just me.
