The movie had ended shortly and the two were walking through the cool, crisp fall air. Most trees bare and others had beautiful arranges of oranges and yellows. The leaves swayed back and forth with the wind. Everything was peaceful. Cars went by, unnoticed by the passerby's walking down the street."What do you do for a living?" Tyler asked quietly, trying to start small conversation. Tyler was really shy around people in public, which surprised Josh to say the least.
"I own my own business. It's not as exciting as your job." Josh chuckled awkwardly.
Tyler stared blankly back at him.
"So you live around here?" Josh asked, changing the subject.
"No, not really. I live in a small apartment by myself."
"Sounds cozy." Josh smiled and for once, Tyler smiled back. His eyes lit up with happiness.
Josh found it adorable to say the least. He slowly found him myself falling in love with the brunette.
"Josh?" Tyler noticed Josh staring and blushed, looking away.
Josh pulled his head back up with two fingers. Tyler's cheeks were dusted over with pink.
They locked eyes. Tyler had the prettiest eyes Josh had ever seen. They gleamed with life and held deep secrets that he just had to unlock.
"Uh, I'm sorry." Tyler looked away again when he found himself staring as well.
Josh just laughed. "No it's fine."
The two continued walking down the sidewalk having small conversation here and there.
"Yeah, its a little to-"
Tyler's eyes widened and he interrupted Josh's story. "Look!" He pointed to a small candy shop a few yards away.
Josh admired the boy as he grabbed his hand tightly and dragged him towards the shop.
A little bell rang as the door opened to the shop. The air smelled of sweets and chocolates.
Tyler let go of Josh's hand and spun around to look at everything. He was like a little kid in a candy shop. Well, he sort of was.
"Would you like anything?" Josh asked, standing next to him.
"Really?" Tyler turned and looked Josh in the eyes.
"Go wild."
Tyler smiled and browsed the candy, choosing some chocolate and a blueberry sucker. Josh bought them, along with some cotton candy for the both of them to share.
"Thank you so much!" Tyler squealed and hugged Josh, almost making them fall over.
Josh chuckled and hugged him back, his arms wrapping all the way around the small boy. "It's no problem."
"We should go to the park!" Tyler exclaimed, getting a few dirty looks from people nearby. They didn't care. No one could ruin their amazing day together.
"Yeah. Let's go." Josh looked down at the boy as they walked. Tyler shivered as the wind blew through his hair.
He glanced down at Tyler's hands, which were slight covered with his sweater sleeve. He moved a little closer and laced his fingers around Tyler's. Tyler kept his eyes forward and a little smiled creeped into his lips.

They got back to Josh'a house and were standing in the front doorway. Josh didn't want Tyler to leave, but Tyler didn't want to get to close. He didn't want his heart broken. Again.
"Well, I guess I'll see you soon?" Josh whispered, lacing his fingers with Tyler's.
"Maybe." Tyler gazed into Josh's brown eyes.
Josh didn't mean to, but he found himself leaning in. Tyler was leaning in as well.
I can't.
Tyler looked at the ground, last second, throwing Josh off.
"I'm sorry." Tyler whispered.
Josh knew Tyler didn't want to trust anyone, because working at a place like that, was rough.
"No, I'm sorry. We can take it slow."
Tyler smiled and looked back up and met with Josh's brown eyes. "Thank you."
Josh kissed his forehead, releasing their hands. "No problem."
"I-I'll call you."
Josh nodded and watched Tyler climb into his car and drive away.
Josh shut the door and threw his jacket in the closet.
"Welcome home Josh!" Debby said cheerfully, walking pass him. He yelped when Josh swept her off her feet and spun in circles, before putting her on the couch and running up the stairs.
"Someone's awfully cheerful tonight." Debby stood up and fixed her skirt.
Josh burst through his bedroom doors and ran up to Johnny.
"Johnny, the most wonderful thing has happened!" The animal tilted his head, not understanding a single word he was saying.
"I'm in love!!"
