Most people didn't really like mornings and would rather sleep in. Because what it usually meant was that they would have to get up and go to their low wage job. Some people were the luckier ones who went to work at night. Like Josh.

When the faded red head opened his eyes, they were flooded with the blinding light of the morning sun. He made a mental note to himself to remember to close the blinds at night.

The blankets were warm where he lay. Just warm enough to fall back asleep, but no. Josh was planning to take his little love somewhere nice today to clear his mind. Maybe a picnic in the park, or a drive up the mountain. If anything was going to happen, Joshua needed to get his ass out of bed.

Turning to his side in the sheets, Josh frowned when he didn't find his love directly next to him. He was getting tired of losing Tyler. It hurt his stomach whenever he's not where he's supposed to be.

So, the tall man swung his legs off his side of the bed and rubbed the sleep out of his eyes; sleep he wanted to get back to. He scanned the room until he found a pair of basketball shorts and shrugged as he pulled around his waist. Josh wasted no time putting on a shirt and left the room.

As he past the dining room, he found Brendon, sitting at his table scrolling through his phone and eating some of Tyler's favorite pop-tarts. The bay didn't notice Josh, and startled when he spoke off.

"Hey Brendon. Seen Tyler this morning?" Josh spoke lowly, as his voice was still scratchy.

"Oh, good morning to you to." Brendon rolled his eyes sarcastically, taking another bite of the toasted goodness. "Jeesh, warm me before you sneak up like that."

Josh chuckled and snatched a apple from the large fruit bowl set on the table. Some of the fruit was starting to rot and he needed to get rid of it before he got any fruit flies, or any bugs in general. "Sorry."

"S'fine. And yeah, I waved to Tyler this morning when I got up. Last I saw him, he was sitting on the back porch." He told Josh, cursing under his breath as the hot tart scolded his tongue.

"Thanks Bren." And Josh was on his way, taking a large bite from the green apple. He wiped his sticky lips when he saw his beloved through the glass of the backdoor.

Tyler was just sitting there. He was wrapped in a fluffy grey blanket, holding a mug of what looked like tea.

Carefully and quietly, Josh opened the back door with a loud 'squeak.' The younger wasn't even fazed and continued to look straight ahead to the city below. Josh's home was located on the edge of a mountain, overlooking most of the city. It was a truly beautiful sight this early in the morning.

Cars rushed back and forth. All going to locations Tyler would never know. He guessed they were on their way to work, or maybe a mother was going to pick up her kids from a sleepover they had the night before with their best friends. Maybe a teenager was on their way to school. And maybe one family was on their way back home, to Columbus, Ohio.

"Tyler?"

It was then, Tyler turned his head to meet his loves sweet, comforting eyes. His gaze was soft and slightly worried. Tyler made grabby hands for Josh to join him and he did. Within seconds, they were both cuddled up on the wooded deck.

"What are you doing out here by yourself?"

Tyler hummed and sipped on his hot tea that has grown cold. "The views nice."

Josh wrapped his arms around the smaller boys shoulders.  "The view is nice? Is that all?"

Tyler sighed through his nose and smiled the smallest bit. "Yeah. Have you ever come back here just to enjoy the view? It's beautiful."

"You're beautiful."

Tyler's heart fluttered at the comment. Josh always knew how to make Tyler happy. Even at the saddest moments. Tyler turned his head and puckered his lips dramatically and in return, Josh pecked them with his own plump lips. "I love you."

"And I love you, my little peach." Josh nudged their noses in a little butterfly kiss. Something that was super cheesy, but nobody was complaining, because it was absolutely perfect.
