"Oh my goodness!" Chester's mom exclaimed.

"Mom, what is it?" Chester shouted as he ran down the velvety carpet covered stairs. He rushed into the first floor entertainment room where his mother sat, eyes locked on the large flat screen tv hanging on the wall.

"Look at this." His mom pointed to the TV with the remote. The news channel was on. "It's ridiculous."

"Another two lives have been taken by a mystery murderer. This time it has taken place in the Central Green Fields Subdivisions. Last Saturday night a mother and son where killed by a knife-like weapon. Police are investigating the home as of now. For your own safety please stay indoors and keep windows and doors closed and locked. Thank you." The anchorwoman read.

Chester's heart dropped as he heard that the murder was in his subdivision. His mother Christine, turned off the television and got to her feet. Then turned toward Chester.

"I am going to go prepare dinner now, take my mind off things." Christine said with no emotion in her words, a colorless face. She walked slowly into the kitchen and started to pull ingredients out of the fridge and cabinets.

Chester clicked the power button on the remote and flipped to The Looney Tunes. He loved that show even though he was 13 at the time.

Chester had short brown hair and brown eyes. His mother had long brown hair and brown eyes too. The two looked similar. Chester's father Jeremy, however, had blond hair and ice blue eyes. They lived in Central Green Fields Subdivisions. A place where all of the rich people of the United States of America live. The subdivisions are huge. There were five sections to Green Fields. The North, East, South, West, and Central.

After World War III (the enemies lost) countries all over the world started rebuilding. It was a war on terrorism. Some nations were poor, so countries needed each other for support. Bonds between nations grew. Nation forgave nation. And once they were all back on their feet the strong bonds turned weak. The advance towards great technology was stunned for years and in Chester's lifetime had only just started up again. World War III changed everything when America and their allies defeated terrorists and their allies. People were less afraid to go to large landmarks and places of great populations. Everyone felt free of worry and fear. Not that the terrorists truly scared anyone. They just thought they did. And yes, few terrorists still existed but hardly ever attacked.

The USA began to build a large community for people to live. Unfortunately, things went wrong and the rich (there were millions) had too much money combined. They populated the Green Fields Subdivisions while the people with little money were forced to live on the streets. The rich eventually pushed the "filth"-as they so snobbishly called them- out. So, the rest of the USA was deteriorated and filled with moneyless people (except for the capital). They attempted to build communities themselves but were unsuccessful. Until now. They had all united and began to create a plan 10 years ago. Gathering supplies they need to be successful.

Central Green Fields was the largest section of all five. Nearly 20 murders have occurred throughout all of Green Fields Subdivisions.

The recent murders have only occurred in Green Fields, not outside of it. Which raises suspicion of who the killer or killers may be.

Chester was about to witness a war. A divided nation's war. Some may have called it "The Divided States of America".
