Sarada rested her chin atop her palms as she stared out the window. A silent sigh escaping her lips every now and then.

It's been a while since she kept being distracted. Her attention ceases to function after every five minutes at some times. And now was one of those times.

Shino had noticed his little student's failure to focus in his class. But he knew just what can make her shift her attention back to him.

"An important announcement, something some of you might already be aware of." He started.

He was right. He noticed Sarada lift her head from her palms and look straight in front. Her eyes completely focused on him. Making him realize again and again how much of a resemblance she bore to those Uchiha. He was one of the few who knew the truth about her.

He dismissed his unnecessary thoughts and took a deep breath before announcing,

"Tomorrow will be your graduation ceremony."

"Mom! Mom!" Sarada called out as she rushed to get inside her clan's compound. Bearing both the symbol's of the Uchiha and Haruno Clan.

Sakura soon heard the voice of her little angel and she decided to cut the meeting short to rush to her.

"Sarada? Is something wrong?" Sakura asked worriedly.

"Momma! Tomorrow's the graduation ceremony!" Sarada blurted out excitedly.

   Sakura perked up.

She clapped her hands and smiled at her daughter.

"Perfect. Your father will be able to join us in celebrating once you pass then!" Sakura declared. A bright sme appearing on her lips.

Sarada slowly replaced her smile with a fake one. A shocked one.

   "Father?" She asked.

Her expectant thoughts were brushed away when she saw Sasuke rise up from the couch where her mother stood up from.

"Oh. Welcome back, Uncle Sasuke." She greeted as her gaze hardened. An action that didn't go unnoticed by the trained eyes of both the Uchiha and the Haruno.

"It's nice to see you're doing fine, Sarada." Sasuke smiled. Trying his best to brush aside the evident distaste that his step-daughter radiated.

And Sakura knew her daughter wasn't exactly happy to see her stepfather. She had been asking about her real father more these past few days.

"I'm...gonna go to my room now. I'm feeling tired." Sarada smiled at her mom before walking off.

   "Dinner?!" Sakura called out.

"I already ate with Chocho earlier." Sarada replied before locking herself up inside her room.

   Sakura sighed.

"I'm sorry about that. It seems that she still hasn't warmed up to you." Sakura said as she looked up apologetically at Sasuke.

Sasuke smiled at his wife sadly.

"It's alright. I know how it must feel. And I won't blame her either way. I should really do better to make her acknowledge me." Sasuke chuckled.

Sakura smiled at the sweet understanding of her husband.

"I'm glad you still married me despite--"

She was cut off when Sasuke pecked her lips.
