It wasn't long until the two arrived at their destination.

The underground cave, where Sakura found out what or rather, who she really is.

But what was Sarada expecting to find here? Will there really be a way to bring her mother back? She knew about the Resurrection Jutsu that up to now, only her mother was able to use. So if that was the only given way, she better give up.

But once her foot landed onto the floor of the cavern, her mind changed. She felt it, as if a lot of secrets, danger, and possibility was present here.

"What is this place...?" She asked in awe as she glanced at each of the statue.

She stepped forward and read the nameplate under the first statue that attracted her.

"Haruno Saizo...? My grandfather?" She muttered, talking to herself.

She ran her fingers at the nameplate and noticed something, making her press at it and watch it retract and reveal a hollow empty space.

"Empty?" She mumbled.

"It seems that the others do the same." Sasori muttered, which made Sarada rush to another statue.

Her eyes squinted at her new accidental choice.

"Indra Uchiha. . ."

She hesitantly pushed on the nameplate, watching it do the same as the other one.

This time, she saw the presence of a scroll. Two scrolls.

She picked one and pulled it out.

"Do you know how I open it?" She asked Sasori.

"Blood, at the wax seal. It can only be opened by a descendant of the statue owner."

She hesitated. She's not an Uchiha.

But she did it either way, and it surprised her when the seal came off.

"What...?"

Sasori raised a brow at her confusion.

'Does she not know?' He thought.

"But...I'm...I'm not supposed to be an Uchiha..."

'She doesn't know.' Sasori thought, answering his earlier question.

"Then this must mean that you are." He dismissed. Trying to change the subject from Sarada's lineage.

"Do...you know something?" Sarada asked in accusation.

Sasori squinted his eyes at the girl. Wary of the fact that she can just go look into his past and see everything he's trying to hide.

"I would suggest that you don't try to see anything about me. It won't be a pretty sight." He warned, with a bit of threat before walking away towards another end of the cave. Leaving Sarada to contemplate on things alone.

'This guy knows something.' She thought. But her ability that she had previously, accidentally, use on her stepfather didn't come to her this time. Maybe it was a one-time thing. She did not know. She doesn't know how to know either. She's got no one to ask, and she herself is the reason why.

She stared at the scroll before her before deciding to open it and just get over the whole confusion.

Once she opened it, she was met with letters, forming words, into sentences, and then a whole manual about a jutsu she never heard about. She started reading it when a deep, low, and authoritative voice stopped her.

"Had someone finally opened the scroll?"

She looked at the direction of the voice and saw a pair of Sharingan, long tied hair bound to the side of his head.

She recognized the guy.

"Indra Uchiha. . ." She muttered.

The man raised a brow.

"Oh? Is it you? The one who opened the scrol-- Of course, you are holding it."

She felt intimidated. Scared even. She had heard about him. And the history of Shinobi she learned actually told the truth seeing as her mother had revised everything. She had heard of when this man was summoned and Shinobi witnessed his power.

And this man was right in front of her.

Talking to her.

Boring his eyes straight into her as if he can see through her very soul.

She was scared.

But she was curious.

"Why...are you here? Are you real?" She asked, but immediately regretting it when she noticed the sudden appearance of a frown on the man's face.

"I hate explaining..."

Sarada was about to apologize when the man spoke again.

"But. Of course I need to. You see, when the founders made the scrolls, we infused our chakra into it that when one of our descendants open the scroll, we will appear temporarily in the form of a spirit as a guide. Did that answer your question?" He explained as if it was rehearsed.

Sarada hesitantly nodded. Not wanting to ask anymore due to fear.

The man sighed, seeing that the girl before her was stiff.

"Be at ease, please. I don't bite. I won't be able to either way seeing as I am only as spirit." He requested sympathetically.

Sarada sighed before nodding, with much more confidence than before.

"Good. Now, let me ask you if you have any questions first."

Sarada stared at the scroll before her before asking about it.

Sasori watched the girl he accompanied talk to nothing. He knew she was the only one seeing whoever she was talking to, guessing that it was Indra. He knew because Sakura had told her about what will happen once a scroll was opened.

He frowned, knitting his brows in annoyance.

Is he doing the right thing? Yes he's only doing what Sakura had requested of him. Meet Sarada, lead her to the cave using any reason he can come up with, and if he can, watch over her.

But he was worried. Is this the right thing? To actually bring a little girl here? And learn a forbidden jutsu at this age? It didn't felt right for him. Sakura had stopped her training because she was worried that she would be experiencing the catch of the kekkei genkai at such a young age. So why? Why did she want him to bring her daughter here? Only to risk her health much more?

He sighed, carressing the bridge of his nose using his thumb and forefinger.

"If only you were here..." he muttered.

***

So. Beautiful people of Wattpad who are reading this. How's the story so far? Are you enjoying?

I can't help but feel like I'm a little biased in this story because I am an avid shipper of SasoSaku. I do ship SasuSaku, man, I mean, I even made them marry each other here. I know they actually married each other, so no need to tell me.

Also, please don't hate on Sarada ok? I mean, the dislike is understandable (I don't like the word hate being used on anyone) but she didn't kill Sakura of her own accord. I know it being an accident doesn't make her excused to the crime she did, but it isn't right to condemn her because of something she never wanted to do (not pertaining to anyone because this is addressed as an explanation) And also, she hates herself for what she did. She killed her own mother, who would love that? Man, the irony. I never thought I'd be this cruel. Sometimes I can't even believe I wrote this.

Also another note, this will also be a little Sakura centric. This story will fill in the things that was left out on the first book. This will be discussing what problems she's been carrying, hiding and how it's all connected to Sarada's fate at some point.

Because the secrets are still unraveling.

(Unravel lol.)
