Nang makatulog uli si Dominique ay tinawagan ko si Gavin.

"Gavin, speaking." Mr-super-serious-straightforward-monotonous-loner Gavin Sanchez.

"Uy, Gabino! I have a favor to ask."

"You always have a favor to ask, Wyatt."

"Yeah, yeah. I'd like to borrow your Island Cruise ship."

"You know borrowing is not in my vocabulary. I have bargaining or selling or things that involves exchanging of valuable properties."

"Well, you will not be Gavin if you do not know those things."

"So?" Nasense ko ang urgency sa boses nito kaya sinabi ko rito na babayaran ko ang limang araw na kikitain ng cruise ship nito.

"Okay, I will arrange that. Anything else?"

"Get a girlfriend, bro."

Binabaan ako nito ng telepono. Natawa nalang ako. Gavin have always been aloof. Kahit sa aming mga kaibigan niya. Sometimes we wonder if he is celibate or something. We never see him with women.

Nilapitan ko si Dominique at hinaplos ang buhok nito. She have wounds on her beautiful face. Marami rin itong pasa sa katawan. Damn he will kill that bastard if possible. Dominique doesn't deserve this. Just the mere thought of another man touching her makes my blood boil. Damn him!

I softly caressed her wounds as if it would bring her comfort. I kissed her forehead and sat beside her bed. She looked serene in her sleep today but once she wakes up, I'm sure she would be crying again. If only I could erase her bad memories of him. Hindi ko namalayan na nakatulog na pala ako. Naramdaman ko nalang na may humahaplos sa buhok ko.

"Sorry, did I wake you?"

Nginitian ko ito bago umiling. "How are you feeling?"

Ngumiti rin ito pero hindi umaabot sa mga mata. "Better. Thanks for staying with me."

"I'll stay by your side as long as you want me by your side Dominique."

"Wyatt?"

"Hmm?" The sound of my name on her lips gives me one of the best feelings in the world.

"Despite what happened, do you still want to pursue me?"

Hinawakan ko ang mga kamay nito. "The more I will Dominique."

Niyakap niya anko ng mahigpit at binalik ko rin iyon ng mahigpit na pagyakap.

Nang madischarge si Dominique ay hindi ko pinaalam kung saan kami pupunta. We are going straight to Gavin's port to board the Island Cruise ship. The cruise ship is unlike any other cruise ships in the world. The Island Cruise ship had an artificial island scenery at the the top. There's a man-made mountain with falls and below that is a makeshift lake with nipa huts. It was a paradise indeed that's why the cheapest fare here is 60,000. That would also mean I would pay around 20M to Gavin. Naturingang kaibigan hindi man lang magbigay ng discount.

Inalalayan ko si Dominique habang paakyat kami sa barko. Awe, surprise, and amazement was written on her face. Gold and white colors dominated the interiors. The staff were lined up and they greeted us with their warmest smiles. May mga kumuha ng bagahe namin kaya dumiretso na kami sa open lounge area.
