Paris had literally broken my heart. But she couldn't wreck up my day. It was time I brought my dress. As it was a disco night, I needed a dress to wear. I didn't really have any at home because I hardly go to any parties. I asked Nala if I can go with her. She said ok. We first went to the city centre. Bella's Boutique was open so we went for a look in there. As soon as I took my first step, I was bedazzled by the amount of diamonds on the gowns! It was truly amazing! I felt like buying all of them!

"Good morning." The lady in the shop was wearing glasses and sophisticated, neat clothes.

"Hi. Erm...We are looking for a dress for a 14 year old. Are dresses available in that size?" Nala asked.

"Yes. We have a wide range of dresses for a 14 year old. Is it for this young girl?" She asked.

"Yes."

"Well it's good she's here because she can try the dress on to see if it fits!"

The lady went over to a random section and pulled out a long dress embroidered with diamonds. It was a champagne colour and satin. It looked gorgeous.

"Does this look good?" She asked us.

"It's very grown-up and I would like something shorter please." I asked. I'm not wearing this on the day!

"I'm sorry but we do not specialise in short dresses. We only do long dresses."

What the heck.

We walked out of the shop and my mind was spinning with dress ideas. Short and bright and elegant. It was sparkling! Nala saw a shop which said, Dazzling Dresses.

None left.

We walked on and saw a shop which said, Get Ready For Prom.

My size out of stock.

Finally, we saw a shop which said Dress Up. We walked in and there were short dresses, medium dresses and long dresses. It was an awesome sight!

A woman with fashionable clothes on walked near us.

"Hello. How may I be of service?" The lady asked. She had a sleek dress on with a silver waist belt and sophisticated black kitten heels. She had her hair done in a perfect low bun. Her makeup was very natural and she was utterly beautiful!

Nala replied and said to her if she has any short dresses my size.

The lady smiled and walked on over to the short dress section. There was every single colour in the rainbow! And other colours! Prints! Patterns! Blocks! Was it me or was I about to faint?!

Nala shook me out of my daydream and repeated the question which she asked before.

"What colour do you want dimwit?" She said in rage.

"Something which is satin and..."

"I said colour."

"Fine. Keep your hair on. Champagne."

The lady twisted her heels and she went into a door. When she opened it I heard some machines rumbling and then the sound faded away as the door slowly shut.

After 3 minutes, she came out with a railstack and tons of short champagne dresses hung up. Glitter. Sparkles. Sequins. Wow. I snapped out of my daydream as fast as I could before Nala starts calling me names again.

"So young lady, which design do you desire? And what sort of material? Describe everything."

"Ok. I want a dress which is satin, has ruffled, is strapless, has a zip on the back, has lots of sparkles and glitter and is quite pleated."

When I finished, she still had her head in the dresses and was searching for the dress. Maybe they did have it! I had really high hopes then. After 1 minute or so, the entrance door opened and a few women walked in. The lady finished her dress search and she took out my DREAM dress!

I was startled! Exactly what I wanted!

"Is this alright? Does it meet your..."

"YES!!!" I shouted. I was overjoyed.

Nala stood there with a glum look on her face and asked if she can buy her dress now. I nodded and she smiled and flicked her hair.

"Hi. Erm...I would like a dress too please. It needs to be a ruby colour and long. Something that leaves a trail behind and it has diamonds on there under the chest area. Has ruffles and is sleek yet seductive."

Seductive? Bleugh! What was she trying to do, flirt with boys once we reach there? Oh, she had a prom. Oopsie daisy!

When the lady took out the dress and gave it to Nala, Nala smiled and walked to counter following the lady. She added up the price and we were shocked!

"£130.00 please." Nala only had £100.00 on her and I wasn't giving back this dress! No way! Nala satisfied the lady and said that we're first timers and please take £100.00. She agreed and said ok.

When we walked out the shop, we brought matching accessories, matching shoes, and matching, well, EVERYTHING!

Sabrina will be so jealous!
