So I went through my list and I just ticked the things which I have already brought. And it is all done! All I need to do now is to get ready. Ready for dancing. Ready for the love of my life. But, I can't go in front of Paris all done up. Ok. I admit it. She did something wrong. What did she do wrong? I wasn't meant to know they love each other but no! Miss Paris thought that, 'Let me gaze into Ricky's eyes so she gets jealous'. We've been friends since kindergarten. And I can't break up with her now.

Stupid teachers. They give leaflets on such short notice. How would we know?

I needed to apologise to Paris. For what? For ignoring her and walking off leaving her alone. She's bound to be left out.

Who does she have besides me and Hailey? Without the P, it's just H.A.

I guess I needed to ring her before me and Nala left. I had to cut this beef between us.

Anxiously, I grabbed the phone on my bedside table and I...wait! My hands were shaking! They were actually shaking! I am scared of nothing but spiders. Apparently.

I dialled her number and it took me some time to press the green button. I slowly and gently pressed it and there was the beeping noise when you phone someone. I gradually waited. For 30 seconds she didn't pick up the phone. Until she did.

"Hello?" Her soothing voice made me a bit more courageous.

"Hi. Paris, it's me. Amanda." I shivered because of the cold air that was entering my room from the window.

"Why have you called me when you have been ignoring me at school huh?!" She sounded quite pissed. Now I got less courageous. Hearing the tone of her voice was dreadful.

"I wanted to say..." Interruption pisses me off.

"Look. If you want to raise your voice at me again, you can forget about it young missy. I don't want to speak to you and I don't want you speaking to me! Now hang up!"

"I AM SORRY!" There was a pause.

"Look Paris. I know I have made a mistake by ignoring you, walking away from you, but I can't live without you. I mean, we've been friends since like, kindergarten. And we can't just walk away from each other now we're halfway through secondary school!"

"But Amanda, why did you walk away from me and why did you ignore me?"

She looked puzzled but I knew why.

"Because, I loved Ricky. I know. It's hard to understand. But I really did. But, when I found out that you did. I was heartbroken."

"I'm sorry you felt that way Amanda. I didn't know you love him. I like him and he likes me back. I..."

"Don't even talk about breaking up with him. I can't come between your love."

"And he can't come between our friendship. Friends?"

I knew that she was going to break into tears in any second,  so I decided to befriend her.
