"That's wrong..." A familiar voice said from the doorway. You looked to your left and saw Kiri, who was panting heavily. She rested her hand on the door.
"W-What?" Yuno said under his breath. Everyone's eyes widened.
"Y-You're alive!" Fuu said in revelation.
"Yes, I am."
"Y-Yay, Kirigiri is alive." Mikan said while crying. You laid on the ground against the wall, staring at Kiri in bewilderment. She noticed you staring and gave you flying kiss. (No she doesn't grow wings to kiss you.) She smiled.
"How is my theory wrong?" Nexus scowled. Kiri sighed.
"And here I thought you were a good detective." Nexus clenched his fists. "Isn't it obvious? Look at the way the key in the inspector's pocket is positioned. It isn't in the inner pocket." Nexus's eyes widened.
"Yes it is! I'll show you!" Nexus rushed over to the sitting inspector. He pulled out his pocket. "See! It's..." His voice trailed off as he watched the key fall out of the inspector's pocket. "W-What? But how!?"
"Even with that clever string trick, you won't ever be able to get the key into the inner pocket."
"N-No. I'm sure, I definitely passed the string through the inner pocket!" Nexus was desperate.
"Wrong, the chance is zero out of one. Especially if the victim is as overweight as the inspector, then the key won't fit into there, because of the pants being so tight."
"B-But still this string." Nexus tried to reason out.
"The culprit planted the string everywhere in the house, so that they could frame Asuna. I found about 14 wads." She pulled a mass of string out of her pocket. "And remember how the key was positioned." Nexus realized. The key was inside of the key holder. "It's impossible."
"W-Well, maybe the culprit used the key ring-"
"Wrong again, the key ring was facing out of the pocket. If it was used in that string trick, then it would've been facing in." Nexus gave up. Kiri continued to talk. "The opera." She directed her attention to the stereo. "The books." She looked at the pile of books on Takeo's desktop. "The prick in his neck." She looked at Takeo's dead body. "And the timing." She looked at all the suspects.
"With our powers combined..." Nexus mumbled.
"Fusion-ha." You muttered to yourself. (Dragonball Z, XD)
"Solved." Kiri said under her breath.
"Really?" Fuu said in shock. Everyone was at a loss for words, except Yuno.
"You can fool Nexus, but you can't fool me."
"Who did it?? And how??" Giran immediately questioned.
"Time for Kyoko explains it all." Nexus said as if he was disappointed in himself.
"That's my Kiri." You mumbled.
"The cause of death was asphyxiation. There wasn't any evidence suggesting a struggle, meaning Takeo's nerves were paralysed." Kiri looked at the door. "The culprit also tried to kill me," She rolled up the back of her shirt. "In order to reduce the risk of being found." Her back revealed a small red dot near her neck, presumably the same substance used on Mizu back at the train, was injected into her. But Nexus's mind was on something else...
