Juzo Sakakura's POV
Nidai charged at me, he tried a left hook on me but I blocked it and unleashed my strongest uppercut on him. He staggered back, but shook it off as if it was nothing. The battle with Nidai has been going on for half an hour now. I just can't find a weakness, we seem to have the same fighting style but the only way I can win is by using speed...
I have to find a weakness, use his size against him. Maybe I could punch him into the air, then slam him back down, but that would be copying Y/N's fighting style!! I have to do it... For Kyosuke...
I charged at him with full force. He tried to jab me but I ducked and kicked his feet, throwing him off balance. I punched him in the chin sending him flying, I then jumped up, curled my fists up into a ball and bashed him back down. I nosedived straight to the ground and landed before Nidai did. Putting this opportunity to use I timed my right hook and punched him in the spine.
He went flying into the stadium wall. He was coughing up blood and he could barely sit up, let alone fight.
But despite this, he stood up and started walking to the ring. "5!" The commentator announced. He was only 5 metres away from the ring.
"8!" The announcer was just about to finish counting. He was inches away. "9!" He tried to get up onto the arena but collapsed on the ground. "10!" The crowd roared. I simply walked away and back into the hotel lobby. Where I had rented a room. I slumped up the stairs, the elevator wasn't working, and opened the door to my room.
I checked the door, the small stick of pencil lead, in between the door and the door frame, was gone, but the paper I left on the other side of the door was still there. Someone had broken in, and they were professional too. Otherwise if it was someone else, like room cleaning, the paper would have been cleaned up and the pencil lead would've still remained, it's too small for someone ordinary to see.
I checked the room for cameras and bugs. I found one that was focused on my desk, but extremely hidden. If I hadn't put those precautions there, my fondness of Kyosuke would've been revealed.
I threw the camera to the ground and crushed it with my foot. I left it there, in pieces and walked to my desk. I flipped the overturned photo frame and revealed a picture of Kyosuke. I stared at it in envy. He's so perfect, his hair, his eyes, his lips... (Ladies? He's a real nice guy... Doesn't like platitudes though :P)
If Kyosuke knew about my feelings what would he think? I know that he doesn't feel the way I feel, but I know that he wouldn't abandon me just because of that. He's worried about me. He's the one that told me to take these precautions because suspicious activity has been stirring in Hope's Peak, specifically involving the board of trustees.
Damn that Yukizome. She should've just accepted going to the reserve course, that way we would actually know what's going on.
Well, it can't be helped now...
Your POV
"Hey, be careful okay?" Kiri said softly from behind you."Yeah, don't worry, I won't lose if you're by my side." You said over your shoulder. You jumped down to the arena.
"And it's Izuru vs. Y/N!!" The commentator announced. The entire stadium roared and chanted.
"Y/N! Y/N! Y/N!" But another crowd was chanting. "Izuru! Izuru! Izuru!" Izuru didn't speak. This person is so ominous, his name sounds so familiar, and his voice has an uncanny resemblance to Hajime Hinata, a friend of Chiaki's from the reserve course.
