"Where's Bruce gone?" I asked sleepily a I lay with my head in Dougies lap.

"Last time I saw him he was in the hall sleeping" Dougie replied twirling my hair with his fingers.

"Oh right" I said, yawning heavily.

"You must have been busy last night, if you're that tired" Danny joked.

"Mm totally" I said closing my eyes.

As I slept I could hear everything going on around me, the boys conversation, the phone ringing, the post coming and someone either leaving or entering the house.

"Ash, wake up" Dougie said soothingly.

"Hm? What?" I said blinking, my eyes adjusting to the light. I looked up at Dougie with one eye and smiled.

"Do you want any lunch?"

"Nah, I'll be okay at the moment. Where's Danny gone?"

"Oh, he went home he said bye to you though"

"Oh right" I said sitting up.

"Tom left you a special present though, being the protective brother he is"

"What did he leave?"

"This... Uhhh" Dougie said leaning to the floor, he chucked me a box. I caught it and turned it the right way up and did a sighing laugh.

"Yep, he is protective" I said with a half smile.

"Only slightly though, you can see if you want but I did use protection"

"I might later"

"Okali dokeali, I'm gonna make me some food, sure you don't want anything?"

"I'll have something small, and a drink"

"Okay, you can get yours though lazy bum"

"Meanie, making me use the little effort I have"

"Fine, I'll carry you to the kitchen"

Dougie picked me up bridal style and carried me into the kitchen. He put me down on the counter and smiled at me before he started getting random things out of cupboards. I grabbed myself a bag of crispy M&Ms, revels and cheese & onion french fries.

"Aren't you healthy" Dougie said sarcastically as I started eating my M&Ms.

"I know right"

"I've never seen so many healthy things in my life"

"Fine" I said grabbing a shiny red apple.

"That's better" Dougie said taking a handful of my M&Ms.

"Oi, there mine"

"I brought them"

"Point-er taken" I said taking a handful for myself and putting them all in my mouth.

"No puns please, sleepy head"

"Sorry, lizard boy"

"No problem, clumsy"

"Can we stop now?"

"Fine, boring"

"Shut up" I said jumping off the counter and walking out the kitchen back towards the lounge.

"Ash, wait, come 'ere" Dougie said before I left.

"Yeah?" I asked stopping in my tracks. He walked over to me a smiled.
