The 'Talk'

So here I was sitting next to Lou in the kitchen about to talk about 'us'.

"Yah sure we can talk" He said a hint of happiness in his eyes

"Look Lou, Kimberly told me what you said about 'us' and that you still like me" I said making air qoutes when I said us

"It's true" He said staring into my eyes

"L-Lou I have a boyfriend" I said shocked of what he was saying

"I know but just saying, I still love you, Jess and I'll do anything and I mean anything to get you back" He said grabbing one of my hands

I've never seen this side of Lou before. He was always the smiley and funny Lou. Not this Lou who was serious all the time.

I guess our relationship meant a lot to him. What? Why am I feeling sorry? Um helloooo Jess remember he cheated on you. Not the other way around.

But there's also a part of me that wants to forgive him.

"Lou I want us to be friends again and not have everything so awkward between us all the time, and maybe just maybe in the future if I'm not dating Beau, you actually might have a shot" I said smirking

His smile grew even wider and his eyes lit up like a kid on Christmas morning.

"Thank you, your a good friend" He said hugging me tightly

We chatted for a while and things got less awkward between us. On the outside I looked like the same old fun me as when I was dating Lou.

But on the inside I had an even bigger question to face. Do I even have feelings for Beau anymore?
