I screamed as I ran up the stairs trying to avoid the walkers. it was just my luck that the walkers break into my house and try to kill my family. "KATARINA!!!!!!!!" I hear my brother and sister scream. I ran back down stairs and grabbed Lisa and Charles. I stabbed the walker in front of us with my pocket knife and continued to drag them up the stairs. At the top of the stairs i saw my mom Running up. "HURRY MOM!!!!" I screamed. As i turned to run up the stairs, i heard my mother scream as a walker tore into her neck. "NOOOOOO" I yell as i try to grab her. "C'mon Katarina! its to late!" My father yelled as he drug all of us to his upstairs room. "NOOO! we have to save her!" I screamed as I thrashed around trying to free from my dad's grip. "Katarina. It's To late! STOP!" he yelled as i stopped thrashing around. i fell to the floor sobbing wildly. "we have to go. Katarina, pack your knives and weapons." My father told me as he grabbed his pistol and shot the walkers close to the stairs. i ran to my room a couple feet away from the room my family was in. i ran inside to gather my things. I grabbed my back pack and gathered 5 suits of clothes for me, my sister, and my father, my 24 piece knife set with the jacket that they went with, and my axe. I ran out when a walker knocked me down. "AHHHHH" i screamed as i tried to grab a knife from my pocket. I finally slid it out of my pocket and stabbed the walker. I shoved it off of me and stumbled to my father's room. as i opened the door, i was shocked, horrified, and depressed all at the same time. There lay my family, on the floor as walkers tear into them. "NOOOOOOO" I screamed as i stabbed at the walkers wit every ounce of force that I had. I began to cry again as i ran out of the house, which was now a slaughter house. I ran down the street dodging every walker. I soon became tired, and i clombed a tree to get out of the reach of the walkers.
