Chapter 2 - Combat the Storm

Lots of people think they are not good enough, cool enough, (etc.) Self consciousness is a thing, and it's also very common; this chapter will help you combat that. In your mind, you are "the main character" you feel as if everyone is watching you, and judging you. Everybody feels this way, until you push the ignorance out and realize, that everyone is like this. People are very scared of what other people think, most people deny this. Say you go somewhere, and maybe you did something embarrassing. Don't get yourself down from it, the truth is, no one is going to remember it, they are all caught up in trying to look cool that they don't notice you. It's a different story if you did something embarrassing and everyone reminds you of it. But in public, around complete strangers, no one is going to remember you. Don't feel like you are the center of attention all the time, you aren't. Until you realize that all those people trying to look cool, no body is going to remember them. Now remember when I said "people are scared of what other people think," you got to learn to block this out. Be you, do not let anybody change that. You have a purpose in this world. Society wants you to be who they want you to be. Block out all the negative energy. The power to love yourself for who you are takes some serious will power, I always feel like I'm not good enough when I make a mistake. The people who constantly remind you of something negative, you have one option to handle this; block them out. Like I said in the last chapter, people who judge you aren't worth your time to begin with. The truth is, as many time as you have probably heard it before, the people who judge you, are insecure themselves. Like I stated in my last chapter, happiness is a choice; always.
