Chapter 2: Gaining Affection

A few weeks later, things have started to change.

When I mean change, I mean REALLY BIG CHANGES.

Firstly, all of the monsters have settled, and are coexisting peacefully with the humans. Which is good, since you would scared they would be bullied and discriminated just because of their race. Then, Asgore forgave Toriel and they're back together again, and Chara is living with them as well, after adopting Temmie from the underground. Undyne and Alphys are also dating are living together. All of their houses are hours away from yours, so there goes your chance of meeting them, but you didn't really mind. Also, Napstaton is a famous DJ, and he features Happstablook as his main backup dancer and actor. They're gaining more money and fame than any other celebrity in record time, so they're pretty stinkin' rich. 

So far, your opinion towards the Underswap cast hasn't really changed........ well maybe a bit.

The more you looked at the news and social media about the cast, the more you started to grow an affection to the blueberry: Sans. I know, and you know: He has A LOT of fans, and is the most popular character in this AU. You knew that you wouldn't ever have a chance to see him face to skull, and you're only one out of millions who have these feelings for him.But still: You couldn't help swooning at his cuteness. Seriously, it should be ILLEGAL to be that cute. (tbh i feel like that phrase has been used in a comic... but I'M USING IT ANYWAY MWAHAHAHA hehe >:)) Surprisingly, you have no idea where he lived, probably because of Papyrus and his desire for personal space. But you understood and dealt with it.

You soon became SO obsessed with Sans that you started to search up images and fan art of him, and saving it into your photo album, which is called "MY LITTLE BLUEBERRY <3" (I know, it's uncreative but whatever :P). So far you have 122 images of him, but it is certain that that number will increase BERRY SOON. (get it? XD). You also started reading a lot of comics, shorts, and animations (maybe some sins as well if you're a sinner ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ). However, after realising the sad truth over an over again, you became very miserable, knowing that you will never meet him EVER.

On a Saturday morning, you miserably walked to your tuition centre, with the thoughts of "THE TRUTH" dragging you down. The tuition centre you go to has both humans and monsters in it, so you have gained quite a few friends of both races from it. You were doing your work and conversing with your friends as per usual, until something rather unusual enters the centre.

You couldn't see who the person/monster was or hear what they're saying, but you could hear their voice. It sounds like a male voice, with a calm, laid back, pirate-like tone, like Papyrus.....

Wait.

WAIT A MINUTE.

With going to the toilet as an excuse, you slammed open the classroom door and sprinted to the reception. 

AND OMG. YOU'RE RIGHT.

Hey, remember when you thought you would never see Sans ever? Well forget that, because HE'S STANDING RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU.

"HELLO HUMAN! HOW ARE YOU TODAY?"

First Impression of face-to-skull meeting: SO. F*CKING. CUTE.

You wanted to freak out so badly. SO BADLY. But you knew that Papyrus wouldn't like it, since he's really protective over Sans. So all you did was stand awkwardly with a weird smile on your face and a HUGE BLUSH on your cheeks. "Ok, c'mon now, play it cool. He doesn't know you, so PLAY IT COOL.", You thought to yourself.

"I-I'm fine, thanks.", you said nervously.

Sans noticed your nervous expression, so he exclaimed, "OH HUMAN DON'T BE NERVOUS! I WON'T HURT YOU SO PLEASE DON'T HATE ME!"

Oh, that look of concern and worry on his face really hurts you! "No I don't hate you! Why would I hate someone as cute as you?", you immediately replied. OH. THAT WAS SMOOOOTH. "Good job me! You're doing good! Surprisingly." You thought. 

After hearing that there was a tint of blue on Sans cheeks, but he shook it away. "YAYY! SO YOU DON'T HATE ME! THAT'S A START. WHAT IS YOUR NAME?"

"My name's (Y/N)." You said happily.

"OH, HELLO (Y/N)! I'M THE MAGNIFICENT, SENSATIONAL SANS! YOU DO KNOW ME RIGHT? I AM PRETTY FAMOUS!" While he bragged, stars started to form in his eye sockets. You can't help but internally squeal at that.

Now here's the hard part. Will you tell him that you're a HUGE fan, or will you lie, pretend you don't know him, and become friends with him? You're aware that Papyrus holds a grudge against fans, after seeing the way he protects Sans from them. However, you didn't want to keep lying to him for the rest of your life! What will you do?

.....Actually, you have a better idea. You decided to go for a little bit of both.

"Yeah, I've heard of you! I always see you on TV! I don't really know you that well though,", you said. 

Yes, that was PERFECT! Saying a lie and a truth at the same time! You felt like a genius.

"GREAT! I'M GLAD YOU KNOW ME! I'M SURE IF WE MEET EACH OTHER MORE OFTEN, WE'LL BECOME BESTIES!" Sans replied enthusiastically.

Not gonna lie, but the word "besties" saddened you. You were hoping that you'll become something more to him.. but oh well. You never know, you'll see. So you kept your hopes up!

"ahem", said Papyrus. Oh yea. We completely ignored him, whoops.

"hello (y/n), you may know me as papyrus. i've heard that this place is really good, so me and sans are here to sign up for some sessions in this tuition centre. since you are now acquainted to  sans, is it ok if we join your class?"

OH. MY. GOD. HE DID NOT JUST ASK THAT. HE DID. This time you really freaked out. YOU'RE GONNA BE IN THE SAME CLASS AS SANS! Well, if the teacher lets you, that is. 

Luckily, your teacher heard everything. Your classmates weren't allowed to leave the room to prevent too much noise, but you can see them peering at Sans and Papyrus from the door window.

"We just so happen to have 2 spots left in our class, so you're welcome to join,", your teacher said. "You first lesson begins next week."

"YAYY! THANK YOU MISTER!", Sans replied excitedly, and Papyrus thanked him lazily.

Your teacher then looked you and said, "(Y/N) why aren't you going to the toilet?"

Oh crud, you forgot about that.

"Oh yea! I'll go now! See you later Sans and Papyrus!" You then happily skipped to the toilet, even though you didn't need to use it.

"Today was AWESOME! I can't wait for next week! I can't wait to see Sans!" You thought excitedly.

With that, you longingly looked to the future.
