Chapter 5: Explanation

He loves you?

Staring at the blushing, indecisive skeleton, you're shocked. You began thinking: this was all so... unexpected, and unreal. He doesn't know you that well, and all you talked about is your best friend. So... how? Is he the type of guy who falls in love easily? Or is he desperate? Just... why?

You demanded for an explanation. To why he loves you as well.

"AH YES, I GUESS I NEED TO EXPLAIN THINGS..." Sans then took a deep breath...

"I SAID THAT IT WOULD BE VERY DIFFICULT TO MAKE ME FALL IN LOVE WITH SOMEONE. BUT THE TRUTH IS, ITS THE OPPOSITE. I HAD CRUSHES ON MANY PEOPLE BEFORE I MET YOU, AND I TRIED TO KEEP IT TO MYSELF. I EVEN FELL IN LOVE WITH QUEEN TORIEL AT ONE POINT! SO WHEN I MET (Y/B/F/N), AND THEY FLIRTED WITH ME AND K-KISSED ME, I WAS INSTANTLY INTERESTED IN THEM. SO I WANTED YOU TO TELL ME ALL ABOUT THEM. AND YOU DID. BUT THEN, I REALISED SOMETHING ABOUT YOU..." 

He began thinking and blushing again, while looking at the floor, which was really adorable. Then, he continued. 

"FROM THE WAY YOU TALKED ABOUT THEM, I COULD TELL THAT YOU WERE HAPPY ABOUT THEM. THAT YOU REALLY ENJOYED THEIR COMPANY, AND THE FACT THAT YOU REALLY RESPECT THEM AS A FRIEND. THAT'S ONE THING I RESPECT ABOUT YOU, AND ITS THE REASON WHY IM SUDDENLY INTERESTED IN YOU AS WELL. IT MADE ME REALISE THAT I WANTED TO KEEP TALKING TO YOU, AND THAT I REALLY ENJOYED BEING WITH YOU. I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND WHY I FELT LIKE THIS AT FIRST, SINCE I FIRST THOUGHT OF YOU AS A FRIEND... BUT THEN I THOUGHT ABOUT IT FOR A WHILE, AND I REALISED. I... WAS ALSO IN LOVE WITH YOU."

Then, he suddenly grabbed your arm, and gave you puppy eyes that screams "I LOVE YOU!" You couldn't help but squeal in delight.

"I KNOW WE DON'T KNOW EACH OTHER THAT WELL YET, AND YOU MIGHT THINK I'M DESPERATE OR SOMETHING, BUT (Y/N)... I REALLY LOVE YOU!"

Thankfully, no one else heard this, since the room is pretty loud when class ends. However, you heard every word he said, and you weren't sure how to react to this unexpected situation. You're happy that he loves you back, but at the same time you were worried about how your best friend would react to this. But at this point, you feel like you should confess as well. But before you said anything, he began speaking again.

"BUT THE THING IS... I'M STILL INTERESTED IN (Y/B/F/N), AND I CAN'T CHOOSE BETWEEN YOU AND THEM..."

Ah, right. He also loves (Y/B/F/N) as well. Now things got more complicated, Should you confess or not?

Suddenly, as if a firework exploded in you, you realise the perfect solution to his problem. Almost straight after what he said, you replied: 

"Let's go on a date!"

"...WHAT?" That was all Sans could say, as he just stared at you in shock.

"You don't know who to choose, right? The how about you go on a date with us consecutively! I'll let you have your date with (Y/B/F/N) first, then it's me afterwards! You would be able to choose then! Are you ok with that?"

Sans hesitated for a moment, deep in thought. Then, as if he realised that would be the best method, he replied:

"YES! LET'S GO WITH THAT IDEA!"

AN: Heyyyyy its been a while :D

Thanks to schoolwork and a CRAP TON of procrastination, I wasn't able to finish this earlier. But since Christmas is coming soon (yay!), I'll be back in track again.

Also, I know I don't get many reads, but it's ok! Just saying, but I'm not writing this for the fame or to gain popularity or anything like that, I'm writing this cause I genuinely like writing stuff! Even though it's not that good hehe XD I also really like Underswap sans, so thats another reason :)
