Lovin' Life- US!Sans x Reader Story

Chapter 3: Unexpected

"WHAT?!? SANS IS NOW YOUR FRIEND AND CLASSMATE!?!?!!?"

It was a Friday, the day before your first lesson with Sans and Papyrus. This is what your best friend shouted out this morning. (I'm not gonna give the 'best friend' a name, so she/he's just gonna be called 'your best friend' or '(Y/B/F/N)' :) Also I'll refer to them as 'they'.) They were also a big fan of Undertale, except they were also a fan of Underswap from the start, unlike you. They knew about your obsession over Sans, and they were also as obsessed as you. That's why you weren't sure if you should tell them about your new friendship with the blueberry, knowing that they'll DEFINITELY be very jealous.

But this morning you finally mustered the courage to tell them, and low and behold, they are. VERY JEALOUS.

"AAH I CAN'T BELIEVE IT I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!", they exclaimed. "Is it ok with I go with you to the centre tomorrow?? I REALLY wanna see Sans!" 

"Umm...." You hesitated. You weren't sure if it was a good idea to bring them with you. They're kinda the flirty type... (Ok, your actual best friend might not be flirty at all, but assume they are, as it really helps with the plot X3)

"Oh, c'mon! Please! I'm your best friend! Don't leave me hanging!" they said eagerly.

You didn't want to let them down, so you said: "Okay, but in one condition."

"What is it?"

"Do not tell Sans about my obsession with him."

Your best friend looked confused for a second, then replied: "Okay!"

 You just hoping that they won't cause any trouble tomorrow.

[The next day...]

With your best friend freaking out like a madman next to you, you're waiting for Sans and Papyrus at the entrance. 

And once you saw the two familiar figures, your best friend sprinted to them with no hesitation.

"HI Sans! I know you don't know me but I'm a HUGE fan of you! I love absolutely everything about you!!" Your friend shouted.

You managed to catch up with them to see Sans's delighted expression towards your best friend. He doesn't seem to notice you yet, but Papyrus did and gave a small, lazy wave. You smiled back at him.

"*gasp* YOU'RE A HUGE FAN OF ME?? THAT'S FANTASTIC!! I KNOW LOT OF FANS, AND NOW I KNOW YOU TOO! I'M GLAD YOU'RE A FAN OF THE GREAT SANS!" As he said that, stars begin to form in his eye sockets. "WHAT IS YOUR NAME?"

"I'm (Y/B/F/N)! I think you are very adorable and I would love to try out your tacos!", they said excitedly. 

When they said that, there was a blush on Sans's cheeks, and it was becoming very obvious. "AWW THANK YOU (Y/B/F/N)! I ALSO THINK YOU'RE CUTE! I HOPE WE BECOME GREAT FRIENDS!"

"I hope so too! And maybe even more than friends...", they said suggestively with a flirty wink.

At this point Sans's checks are literally as blue as a blueberry. "I-I DON'T KNOW ABOUT THAT! IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO PLEASE THE GREAT SANS! BUT I WISH YOU LUCK!"

With a visibly happy expression of their face, they said: "Since this is a challenge now can I have your phone number? This way we can keep in touch!"

"SURE! WHY NOT?" 

After exchanging phone numbers Papyrus interrupted. "um sans i think we're late.". He seems to be kinda suspicious at your best friend, due to what they said.

"OH YEAH! (Y/B/F/N) I WILL TAKE MY LEAVE NOW! GOODBYE!"

As he looks away he FINALLY notices you. "OH! HELLO (Y/N)! WERE YOU HERE THE WHOLE TIME?"

Before you could even speak, your best friend replies for you. "Yes! (Y/N) is my best friend! She is really ob-"

"AHEM." You coughed loudly, to give her the signal.

"Oh. Right. (Y/N)'s the one who told me about you!". They said "phew" under their breath and gave you a huge smile.

"IS THAT SO? THAT'S GREAT! (Y/N), I'M GLAD YOU'RE FRIENDS WITH SUCH A NICE PERSON! ANYWAYS, WE SHOULD GO! I THINK WE'RE LATE!!" 

"Wait, one more thing! Can I PLEASE hug you?" your best friend exclaimed.

"OF COURSE! HUGS ARE THE BEST, AFTER ALL!"

They then gave a huge bear hug for a few seconds, and at this point its you who's jealous. REALLY JEALOUS. You has this unpleasant feeling throughout their whole conversation, but you kept it hidden so your best friend won't notice. But the hug did the trick. You were visibly jealous right now.

As they pulled away, your best friend did the unexpected: They kissed Sans on the cheekbone.

You just stared at shock and awe at them. THEY LITERALLY JUST MET, AND THEY ALREADY HAVE THIS RELATIONSHIP?? You know they're also really obsessed with him, but how obsessed are they??? You start to question your relationship with them...

Thankfully, you noticed that Papyrus felt the same way as you do (well, similar).  But the most shocked skeleton is Sans, who is once again blushing like CRAZY. "N-NICE STRATEGY! DOING THE UNEXPECTED... BUT THAT IS NOT ENOUGH! I, THE GREAT SANS, WILL NOT LOSE TO YOU! JUST YOU WAIT!" He then runs off to the centre. Aww... he's really cute when he's flustered... but you're still really jealous. In a sad way.

Your best friend then says: "Welp, I should leave as well. Thanks for bringing me here (Y/N)! I owe you." With a happy wave, she runs off as well. 

"ok, (y/n) we should go as well. this time we are really late. don't want to give a bad impression!", said Papyrus. Without any words, you ran off to the centre, with what just happened dragging you down...

You're started to reach your breaking point, where you could just kneel down and cry at any moment. You don't want Sans to be taken away by your best friend! But, then again, they're your BEST FRIEND. You should be happy for them! But now, you're just feel weak and depressed. "Oh, what will I do??"

I'm gonna add some cliffhangers in the future chapters to make the story better! The thing is, I'm not very good at that hehe... but I'll try to make them good!
